Kingston-on-Murray Caravan Park, Kingston OM

Click here for park details on My Park List
Approaching from Adelaide or Waikerie on the Sturt Hwy take the 2nd turning on the left to Kingston-on-Murray as this road is wider and straighter. There is a winery on the corner which is extremely well lit at night providing a very identifiable landmark. At the end of that road, approx 2 km, turn right. From here the site is signposted. It is approx 300m on the left. The road is sealed but undulated. Top Tourist member. Ph: 08 8583 0209. Pets at manager's discretion.

Last stayed here in 2012, new owners this time, extremely friendly and helpful. This is a delightful park, shady and well grassed.
Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff helped us at the site, staff explained park layout and facilities. Very good value for money $48 for 2A 2C PN, powered, shoulder season. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting. Good camp kitchen, late checkout allowed, kiosk, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Optus, reception quality was 3. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Basic playground, in average condition. Clean pool, pool is shaded, tables and chairs provided. Suitable for few days, suitable for families, well maintained park.
Liked:- Easy access to the river, sites are well sized.
Local Information:- Always worth a visit to Banrock Station (just up the road) for a wetland walk, wine tasting and lunch. Go to Barmera to stock up on supplies.

New friendly owners Geoff & Barb. $30 per night off peak, we took advantage of their ''Winter Special'' stay 7 nights pay for 5 nights. This park is immaculate, facilities are spotlessly clean, sites are of a good size & flat. Good shade. Adjacent to a lovely backwater of the Murray River. Kingston OM is a very quiet out of the mainstream of the Riverland spot. Very relaxing place & a lovely caravan park. We'll be back again.
