Great small town community park.
Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff helped us at the site, staff explained park layout and facilities. Very good value for money $28 for 2A PN, powered, shoulder season. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, annex slabs to most sites, shade to most sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, no rec room, good camp kitchen, late checkout allowed, book swap available, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground. No pool. Suitable for a week or more, well maintained park.
Liked:- Scones with jam & cream from Trish after setting up. Sturt desert pea in flower at the entrance to the park

Local Information:- Dump point not in the park but public dump point near the park boundary. Local butchers shop has great lamb chops.

This is one of those caravan parks which will pull you back for another visit at some time in the future. It is ideally situated on the main road in the centre of town, just a few minutes’ walk from the shops. It has a park like feel about it with beautiful gardens, delightful in the spring, lawns and shady trees. Across the road is a large park playground for kids to enjoy. The park has a mix of slab, grass and gravel sites with plenty of room for large vans. Shower / toilet facilities are clean, a little aged, but adequate. The camp kitchen and BBQ area looked great from a distance. A dump site is situated on the road outside the park. We stayed for two nights but it would be very easy to stay for much longer to fully explore this region which takes in the southern end of the Flinders Ranges and mid north of South Australia. This is a well-managed park with friendly and engaging operators.
