Marla is the first township as you enter from NT. Basic caravan park at $30 Powered per night. Some sights you can connect with water. Long drive through sites for the biggest of vans. We were told not to park on grassed areas. You pick your sites. Ablutions clean. Marla also caters for those wanting motel units. There is a tavern, supermarket, post office, commonwealth bank, fuel and plenty of parking. We would stay here again if in the area.

As the start or finish point for the Oodnadatta track its OK. Plenty of room to stay hooked up, in a reasonably tidy area. The amenities need cleaning up and are inadequate when the park is crowded. Good food at a reasonable price, and pleasant bar staff.
