Great small town park.
Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Very good value for money $33 for 2A PN, powered, shoulder season. Amenities are close to only some sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, no sites with annex slabs, shade to some sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good rec room, good camp kitchen, dump point, secure entry, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, no permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Basic playground. No pool. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe.
Liked:- Dog friendly. Great location right on the water. Lush grassy sites. Good camp kitchen. Small sites but managers happy to allow us to spread across 2 sites.
Disliked:- We had great weather & extended our stay but if it was windy there would be little protection. Some sites at the eastern end of the park a long way from amenities. Boom gate tag used to access amenities.
Parking:- Stay on the road when booking in

This park is no longer a member of Top Tourist/Top Parks. We paid $33.00 per night 2A powered site at the end of the park beside the road on tan bark and grass. We extended for an extra night and paid $27.00 - not sure of the difference. Most sites are grassed but many seemed difficult for bigger caravans to reverse onto. Amenities were very clean but were not central for those at the back of the park, where 2 porta loos have been placed (one was closed). Good camp kitchen and BBQ area. The lakeside sites have a wonderful outlook, but if wind is forecast don't go there. More sheltered sites are behind the further cabins. There was a rally of vintage caravans which took all the attention of the owners, who didn't seem to know which sites were empty.

Manager's name is Jaqui and Troy.
$28.80 for 2A. Sites will accommodate medium to large vans. Carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4. Good playground.
Liked:- Visited during shoulder season and not crowded. Were able to utilise two sites as a drive through due to low patronage at the time.
Added Touches:- Right on the lake side and could be a bit windy coming straight off the lake but should be expected from time to time.
Local Information:- Coorong Mullet fish is great to eat. Unfortunately the local fisherman was closed during our visit.
Road Conditions:- Good road.

This park is very quiet and located right on the water’s edge so it really doesn’t matter where you set up to get a water view. Some sites are a little shallow and may not be suitable for larger caravans/fifth wheelers in peak times. When we stayed there were very few travelers in attendance and we were permitted to park our 24’ caravan across two sites. There were very handy points for water, sullage and power with good amenities, laundry and dump point. There is excellent Telstra coverage (5 bars) plus free Wi-Fi for the first 24 hours. Sites are all level and most have a good covering of grass. Amenities are modern and clean, receptionist was helpful and friendly. It’s a 1km level walk to town. Unfortunately, when we stayed the weather was very poor but in good weather we assume that this park would be picture perfect and very enjoyable. $32 per night for 2 adults on a powered site less 10% for TOP members.

Update. Now $32 a night for a powered site. You now need your boomgate card to access the toilets. The hard working couple who run this park have made even more improvements since we were last here.

We have been to this park several times. Always pleasant, informative staff. Very quiet off the main road with spotless amenities. Some sites could be more level, tv reception not perfect, telstra phone and net good service. Peaceful, pleasant outlook from a lake front site. With discount for 3 nights plus top tourist only paid $78.30 Good value.
