$35 PN 2A pwd ($31.50 after TT discount) We thought this was a great park, we had a great site and a very relaxing week here. Staff were very friendly and offered up some tourist suggestions. Two large amenities blocks, and some amenities in between in the pool area. All amenities were well maintained and clean, with hand wash and dryer. A laundry attached to each amenity block. Dump point available. Lots of different types of sites to choose from, grassy, gravelly, and slabbed which we went for. Lots of sites shaded by trees, good depending on the season, looked a bit squished together though. Very good camp kitchen near the lovely grassy camping sites, didn't see one at the other end of the park, although there were undercover free BBQs there. Great newish pool and rec room complex, with lovely gardens surrounding. TV was a bit sporadic for us, Telstra/Optus good reception. Park is huge and wraps around the Nuri sports complex including AFL field and netball courts. Free live sport on the weekend with no travel required-bonus altho it did start earlyish. Walking distance to town which has an interesting IGA, some foodie stores and an Aldi to come. Being a central location we used Nuri as base for trips to Gawler, Tanunda and surrounds which worked well.

Liked:- Lovely shady trees and walking distance to town.
Disliked:- The park itself is quiet though there is a bit of traffic noise at times. Nuriootpa is a very busy town.
Parking:- Check in lane outside the office
Local Information:- The Barossa wineries are all close at hand. The town of Tanunda is 5 minutes drive away with a long shopping strip. Lovely old buildings everywhere including lots of churches. Anguston is also only a few minutes drive away with a cheese and dried fruit shop in the village.
Road Conditions:- Good.

We were here for only half a day before the recent SA superstorm. So, we spent 2 days "bunkered down " From what I saw, this would appear to be an excellent park. Has lots of facilities and the pool has been completed which looked great. Location next to sporting precinct which is fine, also 5 or 10 minute walk to shops. Would definitely like to stay here again under better conditions.
