We have been to this park many times and it's always a pleasure. Robert and Meg go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We had a drive through site with plenty of space. The amenities are clean and the closed for cleaning signs at least said when they would be closed. Other parks could learn from that. The ground is hard and it is difficult getting pegs in but that is my only complaint. We stayed on a 6 for 7 deal. Will be here again in a few months.

Stumped up the extra for a drive thru so $37 P/N 2A pwd paid $33.30 after chain discount. Had a nice site tho opening onto little bushy area so quite private. Lots of amenities, in good condition and a good clean standard. Bars of hand soap provided (yuck!) and hand dryer. Dump point at rear of park. Laundry good, but busy, only 2 washing lines which could be improved. Garden maintenance has definitely diminished since our last visit, roses dead and sad. Must be a mouse problem around this area, as we saw a few dead bodies in various places we visited. Would be nice if the bodies were picked up around the CP though. Staff are very friendly, and as locals provided some good ideas for day trips and drives. Some of the very nice local towns don't cater for tourists on weekends and don't have much open. Still a good place to spend a couple of relaxing days in a town with all the required facilities and lots of friendly, chatty locals-lovely!

Very friendly staff, no complaints. Good value for money, powered. Amenities are close to all sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites. Good laundry, dump point, secure entry. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, no permanent/annual vans. No playground. No pool. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families.
Liked:- Good size sites easy access.
Disliked:- Not parks fault but mossies we're in great numbers.
Parking:- Good parking while booking in.

The managers of this park are extremely friendly, however the park looks like it needs attention. The grass needed mowing while we were there, the ladies showers looked like they needed bleach and a good scrub and the BBQ's I saw were rusted. Also be aware of the mosquitoes and sand flies that are around all the time.
Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Reasonable value for money $37 for 2A PN. Paid $29.70, reduced for Stay 7 pay 6. Amenities are close to most sites, cleanliness was average, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, no sites with annex slabs, very few sites are shaded, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Basic laundry, no rec room, no camp kitchen, disabled facilities, dump point, secure entry, wireless internet is available is free carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5. Noisy, open & roomy park, inadequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. Dirty UC electric BBQs are free, dismal bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground. No pool. Suitable for few days, park is considered suitable for mobility impaired persons.
Liked:- We liked the fact that you could walk to town in about 15 minutes. The water quality is good and we have TV reception.
Disliked:- Garden maintenance was lacking as well as the ladies showers not being clean.
Parking:- Check in bay at office.
Local Information:- About a 20 minute drive to Mt Remarkable N.P. where there are numerous walks. All facilities available in town.
Road Conditions:- Bumpy roads with no shoulders.

This is still a well-maintained park. It is quite large - two sections for camping, a section for permanents, another section for short stays, and another section containing about 10 drive through sites. There is also an area where you can store your van if you need to travel without it. There are a few things to see in the town. It is worth the $5 ($3 for seniors) to visit the Info Centre and get a highly informative 'show & tell' on the replica of a locally caught 5.5 metre Great White shark.

New owners at this park who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The grounds are well kept and the amenities are spotless. We enjoy coming to this park. We like the convenience of the drive through sites but had to be careful with our choice because of slide-out, but could still put it and our awning out together with space for car behind van. Cost is $37 per night less Family Parks benefits.

This is still a good stop over and not much has changed since we last stopped here 5 years ago. Some of the drive through sites have low over hanging branches which prevent full height caravan access. Most of the back-in sites have no shade
