It's a lovely park without the frills of the Big 4 down the road but is about $11 per night cheaper to compensate. Anyway if you haven't got little kids in tow who wants to pay for all the play stuff. The park has good clean amenities and the water is nice and soft. Can't agree with previous report in regards to it leaving you smelly etc. No one in our party of 6 had this issue. Sites were big and mostly flat. Didn't see any slabs and quite a few were not grassed especially the drivethroughs. Previous reports about entrance and exit issues are spot on.

This park is suitable for small - medium vans only. It is Not suitable for Big Rigs. The park does have a nice relaxed feel and beside the river is lovely. Unfortunately when we booked they had temporary managers who had no idea about rig sizes. They did not explain about the very difficult entry into the park for our 10m 5th wheeler. While some sites are grassy, we had to park on a site which had loose red dirt at our door. Not a great place to sit and enjoy a drink in the afternoon! The water is not of a drinkable quality. It is unfiltered river water. Park managers told us not to drink the water when checking into the park - but you are still showering in it and even washing clothes and dishes in it! We could smell it on our skin after a shower! They do provide a tank for drinking water at the amenity block. When exiting the park we had to use the In Gate and cross onto the wrong side of the road to get up the driveway. A nice park for small vans but we will not be back.

This is a Top Tourist park set on the Murray River, 3km from Renmark, just by the Paringa Bridge. If you are coming from Mildura, the turn off into the park is immediately on the right as you come off the bridge - easy to miss. Check in was friendly and efficient, $35 2A ($31.50 TT discount). Sites were grassy with sandy roadways. Amenities were large and spotless with lots of hot water. The camp kitchen had free gas barbeques. It is a very quiet caravan park set in an idyllic situation - you can sit back and watch the houseboats float by your site! There is a walking track into town or across the bridge to Paringa. Watch for the kangaroos which come to feed after dark.

Again a booking service that failed - rang the day before hand to book a large site - arrive and no record of my call - still we got a good site. Amenities block was some 250m from our site.
Friendly staff, average staff response to complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Very good value for money $38 for 2A PN, powered, shoulder season. Paid $34.30, reduced for TT discount. Amenities are close to only some sites, cleanliness was average, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, separate bathroom. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, very few annex slabs, shade to most sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good rec room, good camp kitchen, dump point, secure entry, no wireless internet available, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 3. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Suitable for a week or more, well maintained park.
Disliked:- Very tricky access from highway if travelling towards Adelaide. Need a quick exit onto the highway when leaving the park if heading to Adelaide due to very restricted vision. If heading to Hay from the park, turn towards Renmark town then do a u turn some 500m down the road and travel back as the left turn out of the park is very very tight.

As reported by others a nice park with good riverfront access. But BEWARE! Unfiltered river water is used at all site taps. You are warned of this on arrival but while we were there two vans had problems with their HWS due to their own water filters blocking and starving their HWS. Expensive.

We stayed here a few years ago and it was well run then, it is still a neat and tidy park. There is a new amenity block which has full disabled facilities. The only downside to the park is the roo poo we know there is nothing that can be done about it just be careful where you walk.
