There are new managers here - Carolyn & Peter Lock and they quite friendly and also explained places in town to eat or visit. We stayed here 4 nights with our caravan club. There is no camp kitchen but there is an enclosed BBQ area installed now and this has good facilities. In winter a few of the sites can get a bit wet but with all the rain in the area at the time we all considered this to be a minor problem.

New managers took over 14 July 2014 so names are unknown. The temporary caretaker offered us extra heaters if we needed them as the nights were freezing. Although there are some negative comments below this is a nice quiet park and when the council has finished the camp kitchen it will much better.
Friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Very good value for money $25.00 for 2A PN, powered. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, dry change area, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, no sites with annex slabs, shade to most sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, no rec room, no camp kitchen, late checkout allowed, disabled facilities, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 1. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, a few permanents. Dirty UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting. Good playground, in good condition. No pool. Suitable for a week or more.
Liked:- All sites are well grassed and good size.
Disliked:- No camp kitchen though the council are in the process of constructing this but it is proceeding slowly. Light at BBQ area was not working and seating was not undercover.
Local Information:- Short walk to local shops and hotels (2). Hotels have good meals at reasonable value. A good park to use as a base for touring the Clare Valley wine region.
