Very friendly park. Can fit large vans. Did the Clydesdale town tour with Ross and Frosty. Amenities clean. Luckily we have matting for under awning. We will definitely be back as this is a town that really does make you feel welcome.

The big news as of early May 2017 is that (after 28 years) the owner of this very popular park has it for sale. The laundry machines are the best I have seen. The dump point is coveniently located, not buried in the wilderness and the park is on absolute waterfront. A couple of facilities are looking a little old and tired. Despite that, if the new owners maintain the standard, it will remain popular. Drive straight out the gate and down The Esplanade for a good cheap pub meal. If you are prepared to travel 20 km or so of dirt road the Koppio Smithy Museum is a National Trust property with a huge display of everything colonial and early 20th Century.

Manager's name is Lisa.
Great friendly park, some sites tight for big rigs.
Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Good value for money $32 for 2A PN, shoulder season. Paid $30, reduced for top tourist discount. Amenities are close to all sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Inadequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, very few annex slabs, shade to some sites, ensuite sites available, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good rec room, good camp kitchen, dump point, no wireless internet available. carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5. Quiet, claustrophobic park, adequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs are free. No pool. Suitable for a week or more.
Liked:- Lovely Lisa in reception, nothing is too much trouble, good feeling to it.
Disliked:- Some sites can be hard for big rig access and departure if park really busy.
Added Touches:- Good food from kiosk, especially KG whiting & chips.
Local Information:- Great little town.
Road Conditions:- Good.
