Very new so amenities are spotless. Friendly staff, level sites all with big green mats laid out. Playground for the kids can get a bit noisy as expected. Just need more trees but otherwise a pleasant stay.

This is a new park, directly opposite their former park. Everything is new so the general look is appealing. All the internal roads are fully formed with bitumen and guttering. A great new park.
Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Very good value for money $34 for 2A PN, powered. Paid $31.60, They accept any caravan membership and match the 10%. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, dry change area, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, annex slabs to most sites, very few sites are shaded, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good rec room, good camp kitchen, disabled facilities, dump point, secure entry, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5. Quiet, open & roomy park, inadequate shade, no permanent/annual vans. Clean UC electric BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Excellent playground, in good condition. Clean pool, kid-safe pool area, tables and chairs provided. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe.
Liked:- Most sites are drive through. You can choose the type of site you want: grassed or gravel with shade cloth pad. There is plenty of room at the site for awning to be out and car parked. Amenities are spotless and cleaned twice a day.
Disliked:- Nothing to do with the park, but the local hoons like to speed along the riverfront road, which is behind the park, after dark.
Parking:- There is room for 3 or 4 caravans to stop for booking plus there are two inwards lanes and two exit lanes with boom gates.
Added Touches:- Camp fires at the gravel sites are permitted within guidelines from may to October.
Local Information:- Punt across the Murray is nearby for trips. Visit the Overland Corner Hotel, built in 1859; Banrock Station wines and eco centre and the other towns of the riverland.
Road Conditions:- No problems with the major roads but watch the speed along the Sturt Hwy.

This park may be closed by Easter, but fear not! A new park is being built on the opposite side of the road. This will be managed or owned by the same people. It will almost have Murray River frontage. The current park is still at a good standard. Amenities are clean and in good condition. We left Waikerie via the FREE ferry across the Murray and traveled west on the excellent Goyder Highway - very little traffic and no potholes.
