Busy park at the end of the Easter period. Mostly suitable for families during school holidays or fisherman when families have left. Drive thru sites at the back of the park were grassy & sloping but a long way from amenities. Water front sites were gravel/sand & level & closer to amenities & not suitable if wind is forecast.. Some sites had concrete slabs but slabs were for the van, not the annex.
Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Good value for money $35 for 2A PN, powered, peak season. Paid $31.50, reduced for Top parks discount. Amenities are close to only some sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, dry change area, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, some level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, annex slabs to some sites, very few sites are shaded, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good camp kitchen, dump point, secure entry, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5. Quiet, open & roomy park, inadequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Excellent playground, in good condition. No pool. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe, park is considered suitable for mobility impaired persons.
Liked:- Dog friendly, even in busy periods.
Parking:- Only a single check in lane. Easy to block access if not considerate of others
Local Information:- Hummock Hill lookout worth a visit

Mostly cabins. Van sites along the water front and some at the rear of the park. Sites grass/gravel. Large with room for annex and car. You walk out your door on to the beach. Staff helpful, a bbq for $12 per head on Tuesday night. Amenities are old but reasonably clean. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Dump point also. Small playground for kids and a pedal hire car keeps them entertained. TV reception good.

To be fair it is a family oriented park, but our stay spoilt by inconsiderate parents and very noisy kids.
Very friendly staff, good staff response to complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Good value for money $35 for 2A PN, off-peak season. Paid $100, reduced for 4 night special. Amenities are close to only some sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, some level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, annex slabs to some sites, shade to some sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good camp kitchen, dump point, secure entry, no wireless internet available., you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4. Noisy, open & roomy park, adequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. Basic playground. No pool. Suitable for few days.
Liked:- Good position on foreshore.
Disliked:- Stay ruined by lots of very noisy children constantly riding round in 3 wheel carts screaming most of the day ! Families with small children in cabins behind site feeding seagulls at 6-30am Saturday and Sunday morning ! not happy Jan ! left one day early because of this. Shame as it could be a great park.
Local Information:- Nice walk along beach to Beach cafe, great food and coffee .

Different prices for gravel/grass/waterfront sites in this park. $30.60 2A P/N after TT discount for a gravel, non waterfront site which was the cheapest-although with the wind that was blowing we got definitely had the best option. Strange site set ups, with some concrete slabs positioned so that vans need to be parked on them-otherwise no way to negotiate van onto site. Great looking grassy sites seem to be set up for this. Our site was sufficient for van, annex over slab and car park by the side. Site next to us had to park their car on slab. So?? Reception staff very friendly and good tourist info provided. Boom gate secure entry ($20 refundable deposit required for card), although nothing stops direct pedestrian access from beach. 2 amenities blocks were older style, functional and of average cleanliness. Soap, paper towels provided, good water pressure and adequate hot water. There were a lot of cabins in this park that were occupied by workers and these people used the amenities also. This made for a noisy 5am wakeup and quite the volume of people using the amenities which was very obvious after the morning rush. Dump point. Good tv, Optus and Telstra reception. Good for an overnighter to check out Whyalla.
