This is a huge park, now a member of "G'day Top Parks" with many annuals, but most of the tourist spots are in prime locations on Gunbower Creek. We booked ahead but at this time of the year it would not be essential. As we were driving to Cohuna, we received a text message welcoming us to the caravan park, so our welcome was very friendly and helpful, with all details organised. We had a choice of three sites; the one we chose was drive through, level and well grassed, with no big trees (watch for corellas later in the day) and a view across the water. Amenities were spotless, with ample hot water. There could have been more street lighting for us oldies, but a torch does a good job. Powered sites are $31 per night (we paid $27.60 with Top Parks membership). It is a short walk to the town which has all the essentials.

Nice friendly park. Sites large and flat. Close to taps and sullage. Good night lighting. Amenities nice and clean with soap and hand drying provided. Jumping pillow, clean pool and safe play ground. Boom gates in and out so considered safe. Some lovely trees around for shade. Some sites back onto the Gumbower Creek so sitting under the Willow trees on the banks of the creek (which is big enough to be classed as a large river) is very pleasant. This is a large park with a lot of annuals and not a lot of sites for tourists so perhaps a phone before arrival might be worth while. Basic laundry and also dump point in park. Easy walk to town which has an IGA with most things you would require, although I did notice a butcher and fruit shop in town as well. Good Telstra phone coverage. A nice visit.
