We've stayed here on 4 occasions in the past 5 years. A very popular place at times but there;s plenty of room. Clean, tidy toilets, a natural spring in the rest area near the Glenelg River bridge on the highway has unlimited water. A few fireplaces provided but no wood around, can be purchased locally. A few minutes walk to general store & hotel. Carvings in the main street are interesting. A town with a lot of civic pride. The lower section of the campground is closed off in wetter times. We've stayed for periods of 2 nights to 5 nights. Lower Glenelg River National Park not far away, canoeing & fishing. A top spot.

Very shady area with unmarked campsites. Two drop toilets in the one block. Fireplaces to some sites. No other amenities. Only a few hundred metres from town. When we where there it was bucketing down, so wet and miserable, but in fine weather it would be a good place to stay and relax.
