This caravan park continues to maintain a good standard for travellers. Its advantage is being so close to town, a 5 minute walk. We paid $30.60 (Top Parks discount) for 2A powered drive through site. We were able to stay hooked up, but our caravan is under 20ft. Many of the old shade cloth sites have been recovered. Amenities are excellent, especially the new block. Camp kitchen and bbq area are impressive. But, ducks continue to be a problem, pooing everywhere.

You need to choose your site in this park, because some sites are great (large, slabs or grassy), some are ordinary (tight, with torn matting under nut/branch dropping trees). Amenities are new & clean (at the eastern end) or old & dingy (at the western end). Most sites are level, others are rutted & unlevel and all would get muddy after rain. Good camp kitchen & pool Easy walk to port & town. Paid $36.90 2A powered after Top Tourist discount. Paddle Steamer day trip well worth it

Park is in good location, next to the Murray River but behind a levee bank so no view of river. Very short walk into town. Amenities were clean and in good condition, excellent camp kitchen and very nice swimming pool. $41 per night powered for 2 adults. Many of the sites are drive through but you cannot stay attached to the van, in general the sites were on the small side, if you have a very large van I would mention it when checking in.

Cheerful greeting with pre-booking all organised. Paid $29.70 2A per night (Top Parks discount) Sites are shade cloth or concrete, mostly drive through. Internal roads are asphalted with kerbing. Recent rain has caused some issues with muddy sites. Several very clean toilet blocks with one brand new central block. Spacious camp kitchen with 4 free bbqs + several undercover single bbqs around the park. Private access to river walk and old port area. We were given bonus vouchers for cafes, hotels and a paddlesteamer. A great place to set up at a reasonable price for a couple of weeks with easy, close access to a great town.

This park has made improvements since our last visit and the upkeep is very good. Relief managers at present who are doing a great job, assisting our friends in a cabin last night when their power went out & relocating them promptly. Wet underfoot, but that is no fault of the park, great location, Camp Kitchen and Rec Room, dump point and security booms.

Super park only a couple of minutes walk from the Old Port and the township - we have not had our car out since arrival. New camp kitchen would win prizes anywhere - absolutely superb. Large ablutions with a set of very old toilets at other end of park, so very handy. Our site not large and at the pointy end of a triangular setting, but it IS school holidays so the park is full, emptying and filling daily!! On location alone, would stay here any time we visit, and the park itself is nicely maintained with lots of green grass and plenty of trees.

This is a large park with a lovely new amenities block with a recreation room. They were building a new camp kitchen when we stayed here that should be completed by July 2015. There is a pool that was being used by the ducks during the colder months. We have stayed here several times before and the location is great as it is only a short walk to the Port and to the old part of town. My main criticism of this park is the size of the sites. We had a drive through site which was very narrow. I could put my hand out the window of our caravan and touch our neighbour's van. Apart from the size of the sites it is a great place to stay. We took advantage of the pay for 3 stay for 4 nights special. There is free Wi-Fi but we had difficulty accessing it so we used our own Wi-Fi.

Lot of improvements since our last stay here. New amenities block in middle of park. This is the first park that we have stay in that has air conditioned amenities. Great on a cold morning. One of the camp kitchens had just been demolished and a new one is being built. There was just about no grass on any site but this was due to the drought conditions. All sites are either concrete or matting. Price $31.00 p/n for 2 adults powered, we paid $24.80 Top Tourist were having a special for May, this made for great value. Friendly helpful staff. Laundries could do with a couple more machines, as there were only 2 in each laundry, 1 in each laundry was not working. Pool close for the winter.

We've stayed here before during peak times so thought it would be nice and quiet - nope. Lots of vans in - testament to the location (a 2 min walk from town). Some sites can be a little tight if you're pulling a 'monster' behind you. Recently opened is the most impressive new amenities block I've seen. Showers, toilets, dressing/seating areas, basins at either end of the facilities, and family rooms. All connected to a new games room by a timber verandah, overlooking the pool with new BBQs. An excellent addition.
