The very friendly woman, who runs the place, is casual and amusing to talk to. This park is basic, to say the least, but it has the essentials. The park adjoins tennis courts and a community swimming pool but with a temperature of 7 degrees at 4 pm, in May, who cares? A 400m walk into town brings you to the Victoria Hotel (not the other two) for excellent pub food at sensible prices. The amenities block would not cope at peak time but I don't know if there is one. Do you know anyone who goes to Elmore for 3 weeks at Christmas?
Very friendly staff, staff explained park layout and facilities. Very good value for money $25 for 2A PN, powered. Amenities are close to all sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, no sites with annex slabs, very few sites are shaded, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. No wireless internet available. carrier used was Vodaphone, reception quality was 3. Quiet, open & roomy park, many permanent/annual vans. No playground. No pool. Suitable for few days.
Liked:- Friendly staff. Easy site to negotiate. Good cheap over night stop.
Parking:- Park out the front of the office.
Added Touches:- At $25 per night? No.
Local Information:- There are are a lot of historic and old houses to be seen on a walk or drive around town.
