This is a very popular park since the new owners took over. The park has been cleaned up with new facilities in place, making the stay very comfortable. We were part of a group so received a group discount . Normal fee for powered site is $33 with Senior's discount offered. All sites are grass, with many alongside the creek. More sites are available across the creek but that is a longer walk to the amenities block. There is a great camp kitchen and a balcony area with a shade shelter area nearby. A sparkling new swimming pool is now a feature. The amenities are very clean with new partitions but, here is where they lost a point, the drying area is small with water spraying onto the floor and pouring through to the next cubicle. Wet clothes and shoes do not make a happy camper. Hate to say it, but thin 1 ply toilet paper is a loser too. However, this caravan park is an excellent one night stopover or a great centre to explore the surrounding areas over a few days.

The owner was friendly and he was fine with us. Very quiet park only a few traveling vans in overnight. A few permanent onsite van. He escorted to our site . All sites are grassy, The amenities are clean and modern. $27.00 (2 people) a night power and water. The reports of his attitude are in our view are overstated. A stroll up to the town is what we did and enjoyed this great little Victorian country town. Lots to see in the area, memorial in the park on the river, near the town is a must to see.

Nice park but found manager to need a few lessons on how to be a little more friendly. If we hadn't been tired I would have moved on to the next town. Having said that, park was clean and well looked after with good lighting. Park divided with plenty of room for large rigs on the other side of the bridge. When cold or wet this can be quite a walk to the other side. Plenty of hot water and good pressure. A good stop if you need to make an early get a away without disturbing your neighbour as where we stayed there was plenty of room. A nice town to visit, just a pity about the managers approach.
