This is an extremely well maintained park with lots of nice gardens. We stayed in the lower section where the sites are level but mainly dirt with some grass. Plenty of wildlife wandering around the park. Excellent location and would stay again.
Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Very good value for money $231.00 for 2A PW. Paid $165.00, reduced for stay for 7 pay for 5. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, paper towels/dryer provided. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, shade to most sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good rec room, good camp kitchen, wireless internet is available is free. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, no permanent/annual vans. We paid $175 for a week (pay 5 nights stay 7) There is an upper and lower section, lower has larger and flat sites but little or no grass, when windy and dry the dust is considerable and with rain probably quite muddy. Great for families as there is lots of room, a large playground, pool , kangaroos, cockatoos and a creek.

Manager's name is Josephina
This park is a nature lovers paradise. Kangaroos wander through the park and Emus graze on the field next to the park. There are Rosellas and Cockatoos as well. Josephina makes a good coffee as well as being the most friendly manager we have met. We stayed at the back of the park where the sites were more level, however I would suggest the upper part of the park which is closer to amenities and the WiFi Hotspot. Most of these sites aren't that level though. It is quite dark at night, however the sky full of stars is amazing - bring a torch! We weren't able to get TV, though if you have a dish, it should be fine.

Liked:- The natural setting.
Disliked:- It was a bit of hike to the amenities from the back of the park. The kangaroo droppings are prolific, though rakes are positioned around the park so you can rake up where necessary.
Parking:- At the front of the park.
Added Touches:- A fire drum is available for $10 which you can order and it will be delivered to site with wood. Not sure if the wood is included.
Local Information:- The Grampian National Park is amazing with lots of walks from easy to difficult.
Road Conditions:- Good.

What a pleasure to be received by such warm, smiling people at this park. Park very well cared for with big open fire in the rec room. Wild life in abundance including kangaroos, birds and rabbits. Warm pool and some trees. Plenty of hot water for showers. Amenities excellent with able to have your own bathroom. All very clean. Some trees but no slabs to sites. Some of the park is level but other sections on a small slope. Around 4 kms out of town with just a few shops which are quite pricey so do shopping before arrival. Hotel has a nice meal on Friday, Sat and Sunday but early in the week is not as good. I would recommend this park and would love another visit sometime in the near future.

First visit to this lovely park. It looks as though some improvements are taking place here, the Reception staff are lovely, park is well maintained and the wildlife very prolific. We have booked in for 4 nights @ $30p.n. pwd site, for 2A, but 7 nights is looking likely. The town is 4kms away and is a delightful little village. Only one grocery store which is obviously independent and the prices are high so maybe best to stock up before you arrive. Birdlife aplenty everywhere, but the kookas will steal your lunch!
