Lake Hamilton Motor Village and Caravan Park, Hamilton

Click here for park details on My Park List
Glenelg Hwy. This park is on the Ballarat Road east of Hamilton. There are some signs in town but could do with more. The main problem is that if you are coming from the west you have to do a U-turn on the main road as there is a dual carriage barrier opposite the entrance. On left when coming into Hamilton CBD from east just prior to crossing the railway overpass. Ph: 03 5572 3855 or 1800 044 203. Top Tourist member. Small pets only allowed, at managers discretion, on leash at all times.

Parking:- Marked area in the service road outside the park and around the corner from the entrance. Look for the signs, there is no area t park if you go past it.
Added Touches:- Fantastic Fec/Group room with TV and fridge but if you need air conditioning there is a $10/hour charge.

A Top Parks caravan park, the going rate for a drive through powered site is $33 (pay $29.70 for TP members). Be prepared to pay $10 cash deposit for gate key. Park is very neat with beautiful gardens and shady trees. Most sites are drive through with grass or gravel. There are 3 concrete slabs, reverse on. Whilst amenities are very clean, there are only 2 showers for men and 2 for women - inadequate in peak times. Extra toilets are at the back of the park. Once in the service road, it is a good idea to park there to register because the entrance is not wide enough for other incoming or outgoing vehicles. Very helpful advice at the Info Centre.
