A site backing onto the river allowed us to stay hitched up for an overnight stay. The park was neat and tidy with a good atmosphere. The park filling up quickly with a lot of overnighters. Strict Covid regulations followed.

A good caravan park to stay at for a few nights. We paid $38/night powered ensuite site. This enabled us to keep our distance from others during the COVID pandemic. The ensuite was large, with a glass shower stall and vanity unit which were very clean. The amenities block was open but all other facilities were closed. The managers were excellent, keeping us informed of any changes to the shutdown rules. The popular walking path beside the river is excellent and the nearby botanical gardens are lovely.

Stopped for an overnighter on the way to Adelaide. As before, a neat park near the river and town. Good spot. Friendly staff.

Stopped here for an overnighter on the way home from Adelaide. Price was $31.50 (10% chain discount). Close to the river and to town. Very dry and dusty, but that was to be expected given the drought conditions in the Wimmera.

Average staff friendliness, average staff response to complaints, staff helped us at the site. Reasonable value for money $34 for 2A PN, powered, off-peak season. Paid $29, reduced for stay 7, pay 6. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, some unlevel sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, no sites with annex slabs, shade to some sites, ensuite sites available, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, no rec room, basic camp kitchen, dump point, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5. Quiet, open & roomy park, inadequate shade, no permanent/annual vans. Clean UC electric BBQs are free, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground. No pool. Suitable for a week or more.
Liked:- Some sites back onto the Wimmera River but, with no secure fencing, are open to a public walking path. The park is within walking distance of town.
Disliked:- Because everywhere is very dry, the grass and gravel sites look very uncared for. Many of the trees which provide valuable shade are dead or dying.
Parking:- There is a parking lane for one rig but the street is very wide, so ample parking is available.
Added Touches:- Free sausage sizzle provided for our group. Discount coupons for various businesses available.
Local Information:- Mt Arapiles and Natimuk; the painted silos tour.
Road Conditions:- Most major roads to Horsham are highways, but some secondary roads need repair work.
