Korumburra Tourist Park, Korumburra

Click here for park details on My Park List
Well signposted in the main street. Turn alongside the BP servo at the top of the hill, over the railway bridge, first left to the railway station and then right. Park is near bottom of the valley on the right. Follow the signs from South Gippsland Hwy either direction, not hard to find. Ph: 03 5655 2326. Pets at manager's discretion.

Council owned park in need of a little TLC. Showers were large/glass door to cubicle and large drying area-plenty of hot water. However camp kitchen was musty with stale kitchen odours and in need of a good clean. Sites could use a tidy up. $30 per night powered-good for overnight or a few days. Coal Creek worth a visit.

Whilst this Park is very quiet being basically right down in the valley, found this park to be very untidy in appearance and mainly consisting of either permanents or workers who stay during the week and very few tourists. Happy hour seems to take place week nights and start at 4:30 pm and go to when they decide to finish. Not many tourists visited and not many sites available. Did not like that the none of the amenities including laundry did not appear to be cleaned at all during our stay of a few days. Also it appears that the entry to the park is the entry to a walking area and courts open to the Public and the Public can drive around the park unrestricted. Would check with Information Centre as to alternative as appears to be somewhere else you can stay in the area. LOPAJO
