Enjoyed our stay here again in October, it was a welcome break from the 40deg heat further north The park at this time of the year was only a third full, so advised to drive down a certain block and pick any vacant double concrete site, cost was $43 P/N 2A was also asked if we needed guidance to reverse in. cost was $43 P/N 2A Telstra was 4G with 2-3 bars. The amenity blocks are sufficient with lots of hot water; we have always found the staff extremely helpful with bookings. Nice big pool if you are a swimmer, Remember in the Kimberley use personal insecticide because the sand flies & mossies’ can be a little busy.

As the park I normally stay at was full, I tried this one was extremely happy with the service from the staff on booking in I mention my van needed a wash as we had been on some gravel roads, was told no problems we will put you an a grass site so you can wash it.Then was escorted to the site by a staff member who assisted in setting up. Site was great green grass and well maintained, with plenty of wild life visiting Wallabies, Birds Cattle ( on other side of fence) Etc. Efforts where made to keep the amenities blocks clean but with 150 sites and people not cleaning up after them self's, However all attempts where made to keep it clean I seen a staff member there at 8pm cleaning. I will be coming back here next time

Park is basically a dustbowl at this time of the year. There appears to be no attempt to grow a garden or to do much maintenance. Acknowledge water is scarce but other Parks in Broome that we have only driven past appear to be making a better effort. Rubbish bins overflowing on a regular basis. Told by a staff member that the large BBQ in camp kitchen did not work - all it appears to need is a hose from the gas bottle to the burners. If busted why leave it in the camp kitchen. Took one look at the old amenities block and walked the extra distance to the new block which is just as dirty. More than 2 people having a shower then it just dribbles out. It appears a high pressure wash is all the attention it gets. $49.00pn for 2A. Stayed 5 nights for the horizontal falls flight and crossed Broome off the bucket list.

Park has been extended since our last visit. Another amenities block has also been built. Water pressure in the older block was not very good. The amenities and I can only speak about the older block were cleaned but needed a bit of TLC mould in shower recess. Just didn’t have that spotlessly clean feel. Some sites concrete slabs, some dirt and others grassed. Good pool. $49.00 p/n 2 adults powered. The speedway was on the Saturday night but all noise had stopped by 10pm. A pizza van comes on a Wednesday night. Staff in office friendly, helpful and efficient.

Enjoyed our stay here, always stay at this park. The amenity blocks are sufficient, lots of hot water, the owners seem to be doing some work in the amenity block and a new one at the back of the park, always busy during June, July and August, book ahead, though have always found the staff extremely helpful with bookings. Nice big pool if you are a swimmer, reasonable sites, do have some hard stands, this park is situated next to the speedway so if you are there on Friday night be prepared for some noise. Remember in the Kimberley use personal insecticide because the sand flies can be a little busy.
