This is a big park just near the entrance to town. Agree with previous reports, the park provides a mixture of sites - some grassy, some on slabs, some shady, some in full sun. The first fortnight we were here tha park was chockers, then as people departed about ¾ full. The pool is fabulous. Some road noise and some from the speedway when it's going but all over by 10pm. Some interesting smells at times depending on the wind direction, some animal and some human... Overall a good place to base yourself in Broome.

$54.00 per night after chain discount 2 adults powered. 2 amenities blocks which were clean. Camp kitchen is a one end of park a long way from most sites. Beautiful large pool. My only complain is that check in is not till 12pm which is enforced but you are not told about this when we booked in and nothing on receipt.

We now know that there are 2 classes of citizens at this park. You can choose concrete slab or grass. The condition of the grass is very good in early dry season and the slabs are double in width, nice and flat but dustier. Neither option is bad. $55 is way over priced for almost everywhere, but not Broome in June. It's a long walk to the BBQ's and camp kitchen from some sites. The (micro) dump point is a small, unmarked, metal hatch in the ground near a post. I walked past it 3 times before I saw it. The pool is huge and popular.
Friendly staff. Reasonable value for money $55 for 2A PN, powered, shoulder season. Amenities are close to all sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, soap provided, dry change area, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, poor night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, annex slabs to some sites, shade to most sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, no rec room, basic camp kitchen, dump point, no wireless internet available. carrier used was Vodaphone, reception quality was 2. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. Clean BBQs. No playground. Clean pool, tables and chairs provided. Suitable for a week or more, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe.
Added Touches:- Monday night the mobile wood fired pizza man cooks really good meals inside the park.

Enjoyed our stay here again in October, it was a welcome break from the 40deg heat further north The park at this time of the year was only a third full, so advised to drive down a certain block and pick any vacant double concrete site, cost was $43 P/N 2A was also asked if we needed guidance to reverse in. cost was $43 P/N 2A Telstra was 4G with 2-3 bars. The amenity blocks are sufficient with lots of hot water; we have always found the staff extremely helpful with bookings. Nice big pool if you are a swimmer, Remember in the Kimberley use personal insecticide because the sand flies & mossies’ can be a little busy.
