Previous reports are close to the mark. The owners/managers were having some time off but, 'caretaker' managers Michelle & Mal, were doing an outstanding job of keeping the park up to scratch. We stayed 3 days, which was probably enough to see everything. The Space & Technology Museum is a must. We also took a 70km trip to the Quobba Blowholes (very popular with locals). We highly recommend this park.

We visited this park about 4 years ago and it is really big now. They have a grassed section which is really good but we were given a site in the new section, Crushed gravel or limestone type of base. If in the grassed side, you could stay weeks but where we were was very ordinary. Site wasn't big enough and van stuck out on road but the road was wide enough for others to pass. Facilities clean, Pizza night there is BYO and they cook it for you, limited seating so we didn't bother. Good for an overnight stay $50.50 for 3 people a night.

If you are stopping in Carnarvon, this is the place to stay. The others are overpriced, overbooked, overcrowded or run down. The dynamic duo, Jodie and Hayden, who have owned this park since March are cheerful, welcoming and helpful. Every caravan is led to their site by Hayden on a quad bike and help is given if needed. All sized rigs can be catered for. Sites are concrete slab surrounded by gravel or grass. There are two definite areas, one being tropical and the other being outback. Shade is provided to most sites by trees that are recovering from the cyclone in March. $40 2A powered site reduced to $34 for stay 7 nights, pay for 6. Amenities are spotless with lots of hot water. The well equipped camp kitchen area has a wood-fired pizza oven which is fired up for Friday Pizza Night. The bowling greens (damaged by the cyclone) have an entertainment shed where Happy Hour is held each night and Camp Oven Dinner is on Tuesdays. This is a great park which can only get better with such enthusiastic, young owners.
