We used this park for an over night stop off on our way north. We asked for a drive through for our vehicle and 22ft van. We were given a large concrete slab to park on at the back of the park site 136. The staff in in the office were helpful and we found the shower block large, modern and clean. Telstra signal 3 and DTV excellent.. $34.00 with seniors discount for 2 people. Happy with our stay.

Nice park close to the beach and relatively close to town about 4 km. Its right next to the rail line. When the wind is blowing from the south west, west or north west, no noise issues at all, but when the wind is light or blowing from the north east, east or south east, the you get train noises at night and very early in the morning which is a bit of a pain if you are a light sleeper.

Large park on the outskirts of Geraldton near the port area. $36 2A powered site (paid $33 Top Tourist discount). Sites have slab with grass surrounds and plenty of shady trees. Dated shower/toilet facilities were very clean, drained well with ample drying space and lots of hot water. Undercover BBQ area and camp kitchen, but neither had hot water for dish washing. Telstra mobile and broadband 5 bars. Yes, there is train noise during the evenings but the constant background sound is waves crashing onto the reef - not really an issue.

We did not enjoy our stay at this park due to its location beside the port. There was very loud train shunting throughout each night which made proper sleep difficult. We were given a site among the large permanent population who were no problem. Amenities were clean but a long walk from our site. We paid 31.00 with Top Tourist discount. Would not stay again due to the unacceptable noise through the night. A shame for the park in terms of a bad location.
