At reception we were given the least amount of info. possible for us to find the site. The huge site was very sandy but a pinned down site mat helped a lot. The old ablution block was just that...old. I fear that it is a case of don't renovate, detonate. Views of the Murchison River exist from most sites. Only a few sites in the park are level side to side. Out with the wheel chocks.
Average staff friendliness. Reasonable value for money, powered. Paid $39.80, reduced for Seniors. Amenities are close to only some sites, were clean, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided. Adequate number of tourist sites, poor night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, annex slabs to most sites, shade to some sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, no rec room, good camp kitchen, dump point, no wireless internet available. carrier used was Vodaphone, reception quality was 5. Quiet, open & roomy park, inadequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. Clean UC electric BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Clean pool, pool is shaded, tables and chairs provided. Suitable for few days, suitable for families, park is considered kid-safe.
Liked:- View
Disliked:- It's pretty tired.
Local Information:- Views in national park and in the gorges are "wow" inducing.

Large terraced park with many sites having a beautiful view over the Murchison River, short walk to shops. When we were there the park was very quiet with very few people staying, presumably because of this they had closed the smaller old amenities block leaving us quite a walk to get to amenities. The larger block is newer and was clean and in good condition. Clean pool, very good camp kitchen. Large sites, while all are back in the wide roadways made them easy to get into. We paid $42 per night for 2 adults in a powered site.
