This was an award winning park 15 years ago, but it is now just average. They encourage you to water your site but many are just dirt. Good amenities blocks with large shower cubicles, but the cleaning could be better. The en suite sites have slabs but none elsewhere. It is a 15 minute walk to the centre of town. The Triple J boat tour is a must do. Limited free WiFi here and also at the visitor centre in town.

We have not been here for a couple of years. The park has improved since our last visit. We were not packed in like sardines. Friendly helpful staff. Amenities are old but clean. Clean pool. Good camp kitchen. $37 p/n for 2 adults. The park runs tours now. We did the cat on Lake Argyle. Wonderful day.

Fabulous reception we received. Gave us a nice shady spot for 2 days. We paid $36 a night normally $42 in high season. Part of the park is being rested and lots of trees were pruned in readiness for the wet season. Bird life was in abundance and little TaTa Lizards were having a time of there lives with no-one around. Always a pleasure to come to this park. Swimming Pool was tops.

This park is located within a short walking distance of the main shopping precinct. Shady, mostly generous sized bays. A couple could do with a bit more grass but I guess it isn't that easy to grow grass in a well shaded area. Ablution blocks close to most sites were cleaned daily. Definitely a "stay again" park for us. Water good and pressure adequate. Night lighting good.
