Very overpriced at $40 pn powered, A very basic park with no extras. All dirt sites, many are drive through. Amenities are clean. Mostly used as an overnight stop for those entering and leaving WA. Seniors discount available only for 2 or more nights. Acclaim Parks member.

Ok for an over nighter if desperate, but far too expensive for what you get, $36 with pensioner discount per night powered site. Should be $40 which is a rip off. Place been tidied up by new chain owners Acclaim parks, clean facilities but not worth the money overall. Town in decline, IGA got minimum $20 spend to use EFPOS , in store ATM charged $2-90 to withdraw cash , disgraceful ! No wonder the town is dying !

This old park is way too expensive at $40 pn. Our site had half buried logs and the slab looked like it had been attacked with a jackhammer. The amenities are clean, but no mops

Liked:- ease of access to sites
Disliked:- for the money you pay for sights on the Nullarbor very poor value in comparison, the park needs a lot of maintenance eg main sign blown down for 3 months and not fixed, internal roads need major resurfacing, no dump point in park go to tourist centre when open and pay $3

$35 p/n 2A powered, we paid $30.80 due to Acclaim Parks discount card (2nd park stay -12%). Very friendly welcome from Kylie, who is 8 weeks in as new manager with her husband. Kylie gave us details of park and town facilities, as well as tourist information for the local area. Very helpful. The new management team are putting in the effort to spruce the place up, planting some lovely gardens and the park looked really clean and orderly. 2 amenities blocks were in very good condition, light, well ventilated and spacious. Good water pressure, hot water and soap provided. Laundry was very good and very clean. Drive thru sites available, ours was perfectly level to allow us to stay hooked up. Some sites had annex slabs. Sites available for any sized van/5th wheeler. Some shady sites available. Good clean camp kitchen and BBQs, basic rec room. Good digital TV reception. Only dislike for this CP is that it doesn't have a dump point. Info Centre will facilitate access to town dump point during its business hours for $3 -or you could save 'it' and deposit at freecamp dump point approx 34k's up the Eyre Highway. Park was within strolling distance of Norseman town centre, and the locals and kids we encountered were very friendly. Info Centre was helpful, good souvenirs and an a/c'd oasis after pleasant stroll around town. Town has a pool, which looked new and inviting. IGA and pub also open. Our stay was peaceful, restful and very pleasant indeed.

This park makes for a good stopover and topping up on water. For travellers reading this report Norseman is the last stop for water until you reach Penong or Ceduna. Gateway Caravan Park have plenty of overnight drive through sites.

We stayed there when they were offering 20 buck special for a powered site (2A) per night. No complaints at that price as the amenities were clean with good showers. Good sized, but not too many level sites with plenty of room to stay hooked up. Perfect for an overnight stay. However, the normal rate is 38 bucks a night which would make it one of the worst value for money parks we have stayed in. Generally the park is run down and needs a lot of TLC. Very basic camp kitchen/rec room. Basic BBQ area which could do with a good tub up. No playground. No pool. No dump point. The right price for a park like this one would be in the 25 buck bracket.
