Qld, Charleville, Cobb And Co Caravan Park

Date of Stay: July 2015 Rating: 3.5
The previous report seems a little unfair, as well as being outdated. New management has taken over in the interim and much work has been done in renovation, renewal and new infrastructure. Not much grass due to current widespread drought, but I rate this park as much improved since an earlier visit in 2012. We had plenty of room for the awning, there are 2 really clean amenity blocks and a new BBQ area. The park is closest to the town, but the area is quiet and peaceful with some good shade trees.

New owner/managers are young and keen and doing an excellent job of rejuvenating this park. Already a new disabled amenity block is nearing completion, an extended camp kitchen is on the way and a new dump point is planned. Weeds are being sprayed and a general tidy-up makes this better than previous visits.
