Great park. Very close to the river. Fantastic camp kitchen with wood burning stove, couches large kitchen with a big oven. Great outdoor area. Pizza oven. Cafe with great food. Very friendly staff. Amenities are old but very clean . Two new family friendly bathrooms are great. Large sites.

Vic, Walkerville, Walkerville Foreshore Reserve

Great park right on the water. Lots of sites, many between shrubs and trees. Powered and unpowered available. Toilets and showers in various locations along the park. Very clean . A large camp kitchen. While we were there the small shop was open Friday Saturday Sunday .They had takeaway food coffee etc available. $45 a night for power. It was worth it because of the location.

Vic, Phillip Island, Cowes Foreshore Caravan Park - Cowes

Very neat and tidy park. Grassy sites some with fake grass. Alot of permanent holiday vans. Old but clean amenities. Pizza oven , great camp kitchen and games room. This park is right on the beach which is also dog friendly. Easy walking distance to town along beach or road.

Qld, Texas, Texas Van Park

Great little park. Very friendly managers. Amenities block spotless and recently renovated. No grass due to the drought but each site had a cement slab. Short walk to the lovely main street.

Qld, Bundaberg, AAOK Riverdale Caravan Park

This park is in great location,along the river. A short walk across the bridge into town. Clean amenities. It needs some tidying up but was still a good place to stay. Friendly managers. Pet friendly and $30 a night.

Great park. Friendly staff. Spotless amenities. $31.50 a night. With g 'day mates rates. Lovely and quiet with great walks around the lake area.

Great little park. Very friendly owners. Spotless amenities. $30 a night. Very flat shady sites. $30 a night.

Qld, Carnarvon National Park, Sandstone Park

Situated on top of a huge flat hill minutes from the gorge. Amazing park. 41 enormous sites. All with amazing views. No power or water. 6 spotless portable toilets that flush and have a basin. A small basket of toiletries in each one. Kennels to put your dog in so you can visit the park. $10 a half day for this. Fire pits on each site. Can top up your water tanks on arrival. 20 cents a litre. Collect wood from property if needed and generators okay in certain hours. $28 a night.

NSW, Burren Junction, Burren Junction Camping Area

A very large camping area with lots of water taps around the whole area. Hot Artesian Pool 2 showers. 2 toilets for men and 2 for ladies. A very friendly local collects $5 a night for each site. Every Friday a lady comes around with delicious homemade goodies.

SA, Mount Pleasant, Mount Pleasant Caravan Park

Great park $25 a night. Power and water. Large sites. Very friendly caretaker. Showers and toilets spot less. Choose own site. Wide open space with oval ,playground and a short walk into the town.
