Manager's name is David & Bernadette.
Very friendly staff, good staff response to complaints, staff helped us at the site, staff explained park layout and facilities. Very good value for money $20 for 2A, powered. Soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, no sites with annex slabs, shade to most sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good camp kitchen, late checkout allowed, dump point, wireless internet is available is free, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 3. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground. No pool. Suitable for a week or more, well maintained park.
Liked:- From the warmest of welcomes on arrival to the time of departure, everyone is made to feel so at ease. No noise from the Highway traffic. Can walk to the Shops, Post Office, Hotel & 2828 Information Centre. Pets welcome.
Parking:- No waiting to get to a site.
Added Touches:- Every evening at 5 p.m. is Happy Hour or, maybe a little longer. We are treated to David's pizza slices and stunning Mini Muffins made by Bernadette. Lots of laughs & giggles, you could not ask for a more happy time. Upon arrival we also received a voucher for a great cup of coffee at 2828 Information Centre.
Local Information:- Don't forget to ask about the 2.1/2 hour Farm Trip. Gives the city folks an insight into running a Wheat, Sheep & Cattle farm.
Road Conditions:- Excellent road conditions. The town is just off the Castlereagh Highway, between Gilgandra & Coonamble.

We have been very happy here and would definitely stay here again. Very friendly staff, good staff response to complaints, staff offered tourist advice, staff helped us at the site, staff explained park layout and facilities. Good value for money ($31.00 2A PN, powered). Amenities are close to all sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, dry change area, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, no sites with annex slabs, shade to most sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, no rec room, basic camp kitchen, late checkout allowed, dump point, wireless internet is available, you can use your mobile wireless (carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5). Peaceful, open & roomy park, plenty of shade, no permanents. Clean UC gas bbq, bbq area lighting. No playground, no pool. Suitable for a week or more.
Liked:- Liked the peace & quiet.Settled on staying a week and have ended up staying 4 weeks.
Parking:- No special parking needed, check in is fast & efficient.
Local Information:- The Geikie Gorge boat trip is a must.
