Vic, Whitfield, Valley View Caravan Park

Date of Stay: April 2016 Rating: 4
Great little park right in the little settlement of Whitfield. Handy to shop, café and hotel. Very friendly welcome on arrival and sites are large. $30 per night off peak. Amenities were well presented and spotlessly clean. Owners are continually trying to improve the park. Views over the nearby ranges from some sites. Good laundry facilities. Enjoyed our stay here.

Vic, Bridgewater On Loddon, Bridgewater Tourist Park

Date of Stay: November 2015 Rating: 4.5
Very new park with lots of lush green grass and great sites overlooking Loddon River. Walking track along river into town is great. Bakery worth a visit. Friendly welcome at park reception. No dump point on site. Has a small swimming pool. Amenities clean but would be not be adequate when park was fully occupied. Would be a haven for water skiers in summer. Tourist Park only with over 100 sites. Worth a visit.

Manager's name is Judy. Park is 3km from town which made for a peaceful stay. Very friendly staff, staff offered tourist advice, staff helped us at the site, staff explained park layout and facilities. Good value for money ($33 2A PN, powered, peak season). We paid $30 because of Discount for wet park roads. Amenities are close to all sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, no sites with annex slabs, no sites are shaded, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by. Good laundry, you can use your mobile wireless (carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 3). Peaceful, open & roomy park, no permanents. No playground, no pool. Suitable for few days, suitable for families, well maintained park.
Liked:- Very Friendly welcome by Judy. This is a new park still being developed. It had rained a few days before our arrival and roads were a little soft. Judy went out of her way to ensure site was the best she could make it.
Added Touches:- Fire pit lit at 5pm and happy hour encouraged overlooking Warrego River.
