Friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Reasonable value for money $33.00 for 1A PN, powered, shoulder season. Paid $30, reduced for Chain discount. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, very few annex slabs, shade to some sites, ensuite sites available, drive-through sites. Noisy, open & roomy park, adequate shade. Clean UC electric BBQs. Excellent playground, in good condition. Clean pool, kid-safe pool area, tables and chairs provided. Suitable for few days.
Liked:- BBQ both gas and electric
Disliked:- Trucks coming down the highway next to the park used exhaust brakes

Vic, Stawell, Stawell Caravan Park

No sites are level as the whole park is on a slope.
Friendly staff, no complaints. Poor value for money $29 for 1A PN, powered, shoulder season. Amenities are close to only some sites, cleanliness was average, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly unlevel sites, poor night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, no sites with annex slabs, shade to some sites, drive-through sites. You can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Vodaphone, reception quality was 3. Noisy, open & roomy park, inadequate shade, many permanent/annual vans. Suitable for few days.
Disliked:- As this park is a fair way out of town trucks use exhaust brakes all night. My advice keep going to Grampian's Gate in town bit more expensive but worth it.

Vic, Tatura, Country Gardens Caravan Park

I was there just as the rains hit, only 2 toilets and showers but most sites are permanents. The couple who now own the park took great pains to find a relatively dry site. They have only owned the park for a few months and it looks like a major job to get it up to standard. The other park in town were going to put me on a site that would have got me bogged and were most upset when I left to check out this park

Suitable for few days, suitable for families.
Liked:- Kids can play mini golf and ride a miniature train

Unfortunately I arrived just before the flood so the area was pretty soggy under foot. Was able to get a slab just outside ablution block.

Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, very few annex slabs, very few sites are shaded, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. You can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Vodaphone, reception quality was 4. Quiet, open & roomy park, many permanent/annual vans.
Liked:- Plenty of showers and toilets.
Disliked:- Could be noisy and crowded during peak season with the number of permanents.

Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, no sites with annex slabs, very few sites are shaded, ensuite sites available, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by. Liked:- Not too noisy at Western end of park
Disliked:- Ensuites needed an upgrade

Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, poor night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, very few annex slabs, very few sites are shaded, drive-through sites. Good camp kitchen, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Vodaphone, reception quality was 4. Quiet, open & roomy park, inadequate shade, no permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground. No pool. Suitable for a week or more.
Disliked:- Only two shower and toilet cubicles could be a wait when busy

Clean pool, pool is shaded, tables and chairs provided. Suitable for few days.
Liked:- Can stay hitched up. Most sites are ensuites. They have meals that travellers can purchase $25 2 course.

Park was full but they managed to put me onto an area which was level and reasonably quiet. Took me around park to check a couple of spots before letting me decide which one.
