Manager's name is Chris and Dawn. The ground is very hard, we (and our friends) bent several tent pegs when putting up our tents. That is the only negative however - this is a lovely park, with excellent facilities which are well maintained. Easy access to the town centre and the cycle path which runs along the beachfront. Friendly staff, staff explained park layout and facilities. Reasonable value for money ($55 2A 1C PN, powered, peak season). Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, are close to most sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, dry change area. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, shade to some sites, good rec room, good camp kitchen, kiosk, dump point, secure entry, you can use your mobile wireless (carrier used was Optus, reception quality was 4). SA, Kingston SE, Kingston Caravan Park

This was our second stay, having stayed here in Dec 2010. Got off to a bad start the day before leaving, as they had mistakenly given our site (which I had booked 10 months previously in March) to someone else. Fortunately we managed to resolve it amicably, with some financial compensation given to us. Nonetheless it got our holiday off to a bad start. The camp site itself has deteriorated noticeably in the 12 months since our previous visit. The amenities and camp kitchen are in need of some renovation. Some campers quite noisy after 23:00, with no visible enforcement of noise rules. Average staff friendliness, average staff response to complaints Good value for money ($39 2A 1C PN, powered, peak season). Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, are close to most sites, cleanliness was average, condition is poor, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, mostly level sites, good night lighting, shade to some sites. Basic laundry, no rec room, basic camp kitchen, late checkout allowed, kiosk, wireless internet is available, you can use your mobile wireless (carrier used was Optus, reception quality was 3). Noisy, claustrophobic park, not enough shade, a few permanents. Clean UC gas bbq (free), congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Basic playground in poor condition. No pool. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families.
Liked:- Location - very close to the beach
Disliked:- No access control - anyone can come in or out. No visible enforcement of noise policy - is there even a noise policy
