Tas, Richmond, Richmond Tourist Park and Cabins

Date of Stay: March 2014 Rating: 1
The amenities were very dirty and the male toilet had a bad urine smell all the time. There were no mops to clean up after a shower and there was water all over the floors and with dirty showers that cost $1. Hot water taps removed in the laundry which caused some people to wash their clothes in the bathroom hand basins. The grounds were very untidy. I would not recommend this park.
Average staff friendliness, average staff response to complaints. Poor value for money $30 for 2A, powered. Amenities are close to only some sites, were dirty, condition is poor, water pressure is bad / Variable pressure experienced, there was inadequate hot water, extra charge for shower, soap provided. Adequate number of tourist sites, some level sites, poor night lighting, ensuite sites available, adequate sullage close by. Poor laundry. Claustrophobic park, inadequate shade, a few permanents.
Disliked:- Amenities very dirty. Paid $1for a shower with no pressure and the water did not drain away. Asked where dump point was and told by manager to empty the toilet tank into the sullage point next to the van. This did not seem right and would not be very healthy tipping it near the van and next to the fresh water taps. I don't know but would assume this is not very EPA friendly.
Local Information:- Close to the town of Richmond and the historic sites.
