The park owners do a great job. Very friendly with lots of southerners staying for the winter. Whilst only a few annexe slabs, owners supply plastic matting to keep your annexe area clean and dry.

Liked:- Camp kitchen and meeting area probably the best I have encountered anywhere. Park is right in town with all the amenities needed in a small country town.
Disliked:- When you have shade you typically have birds / bats. We were under a tree that fed bats overnight so the first five minutes of each day was spent cleaning the overnight droppings. No big deal really.
Local Information:- Close to both Somerset and Wivenhoe Dams for the fishermen and Water Skiers.
Road Conditions:- Good roads throughout the area.

Qld, Dalby, Dalby Tourist Park

Date of Stay: February 2014 Rating: 3.5
Stayed two weeks in late February. Approx. half of caravan sites are on a bitumen area, which probably made our stay a bit warmer than if we were on grass. Several grassed sites were being reconstructed while we were there. Right on the banks of Myall Creek with a short walk to the CBD through a back gate from the park. Dick was our host and he was great, couldn't do enough to ensure our stay, was pleasant. Definitely stay here again.

Qld, Kumbia, Kumbia Apex Park

Date of Stay: February 2014 Rating: 3
Known as a 'Free Camp' right in the middle of Kumbia with basic facilities. Space for about 6-8 overnight campers with hot showers (gold coin required), or hook up to power with a donation sought. Good atmosphere with fellow campers and a two minute walk to the hotel (meals were great the night we stayed - Friday), butcher shop and servo. Definitely stay again

Qld, Biloela, Discovery Holiday Park

Date of Stay: January 2014 Rating: 4
Manager's name is Debbie and Ian.
Spent six weeks working in Biloela and stayed here with our van. Lots of Hi Viz workers at present in cabins but I am sure that will will die off once the CSG plants are up and running. Well managed by Debbie and Ian. All caravan sites have ensuites which may be old but clean, and concrete slabs for your annex. Walk to the town centre in approx. five minutes (approx. 600m), with everything that the traveller needs. Would definitely stay again.

Qld, Pomona, Pomona Caravan Park & Showground

Date of Stay: January 2014 Rating: 3
Stayed at the Pomona Showgrounds adjacent to a small caravan park. Good clean amenities block. Plenty of room in the showgrounds without specific allotted sites. Set up the van where it suits. A short walk to a the lovely little town of Pomona, and close to other towns Cooroy, Eumundi, Yandina, and only 30 mind drive to Noosa. Great value at $22per night for two adults on a powered site. Suit big rigs and 5th Wheelers! We stayed a week and will definitely go back.

BIG4 handy to Wodonga and Albury. Most sites level with a little shade. Staff very helpful and friendly. Toilet / amenity blocks are getting a bit tired but staff did well to keep them clean during my stay in the school holidays. Good camp kitchen and bbq facilities.
