WA, Yalgoo, Yalgoo Caravan Park

Date of Stay: August 2015 Rating: 3.5
This would have to be one of the best small town caravan parks. $19.50 per night (2 people), seniors rate. A very warm welcome, who explained all. There are two sections, the older part has an expanse of lawn with sights, some with concrete around the edge. The new part is gravelled drive throughs, all with water and sullage. All sites appear to be level. The abolitions are very new. About 6 unisex ensuits units, all brand new. A $2.00 donation to RFDS for use of washing machines and a cost of $2.00 for dryer. Small modern camp kitchen. They also have about six newly built motel type units, one with an ensuit. Suitable for one (or as many) days as you wish. There is a lot to be said about this park! Check out the small church built by Mons.John Hawes, he is the person who built the big catherdral in Geraldton as well as many others in the area.

Manager's name is
Previous report quite accurate. Pay at supermarket - $20.00, two people. No grass, which is understandable due to harsh climate. Most sites are level with cement slabs. All with water. Most with large shady trees. Free washing and drying machines. Toilets are clean and satisfactory. Speed humps are very big, so slow is good. Roadhouse closes at 1pm. however opens early.

All good for an overnighter. $25.00 (2 people). All sights are pretty much level, no sullage points or water supplied - which is to be expected across the Nullarbor. Around 7 power poles, so room for plenty of units. Friendly staff at checking in. Ablutions are a bit tired but clean with plenty of hot water. Full signal for Telstra mobiles.

WA, Paynes Find, Paynes Find Tavern Caravan Park

Date of Stay: November 2012 Rating: 1.5
This park has changed hands and what a difference. Friendly and helpful staff with excellent meals. I stayed one night in one of the air conditioned ensuite cabins and was excellent value at $60.00. My unit even had a TV (don't think they all do). The caravan sites looked a bit basic however there was a new toilet block - unfortunately it was locked so I couldn't check it out. If coming though in our van, would be quite happy to book in for a night. Suitable for one night. Very busy with trucks & road trains.

WA, Karratha, Discovery Parks - Balmoral

Date of Stay: June 2012 Rating: 4
Found this park very satisfactory. Park mainly for permanents, however there are plenty of concrete sites with grass surrounds for tourists. New very clean toilet block (however no wheelchair facility). This facility is situated adjacent to the pool and only open during office hours. $46 per night; $42.00 with discount. Suitable for as long as one wishes.

WA, Marble Bar, Marble Bar Holiday Park

Very friendly staff, average staff response to complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Reasonable value for money ($30 2A PN, powered, peak season). Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, are close to most sites, cleanliness was average, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, poor night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, concrete annex slabs to some sites, shade to some sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Basic laundry, no rec room, car wash, you can use your mobile wireless (carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5). Quiet, open & roomy park, plenty of shade, no permanents. UC gas bbq, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground, no pool. Suitable for few days.
Liked:- Very quiet and walking distance to town centre
Disliked:- Toilet block is a bit "tired looking", however the other toilet block is under repairs.
Added Touches:- Sausage sizzle or bacon & eggs available Sunday evenings. Cost $7.00
Local Information:- "Hot in the summer, warm in the winter". Hottest town in Australia, so don't visit after September
Road Conditions:- Bitumen from Port Headland. This road has many road trains. Gravel from Newman.
