This park does not have a full time caretaker, but a very friendly girl comes around to collect the fees, or there is an honesty box in the laundry. Qld, Blackall, Blackall Caravan Park

Some sites will accommodate very large vehicles, but you would need to be early. Some visitors complained about the full park, but we had no issues, especially considering the peak season. The amenities are portables, but are clean and well maintained. Water smells of sulphur when hot, but once cooled it tastes and smells great. We thought that Evan was great value as our happy hour entertainment. We have been here about 5 times and we will be back.

NSW, Tibooburra, Granites Motel And Caravan Park

Date of Stay: July 2015 Rating: 3
We booked in at TJs service station, but there was a friendly person on-site to help at the park, something we hadn't had at this park before. Drive-through in unpowered sites only. Could get a 5th wheeler in unpowered.

Amenities are close to all sites, cleanliness was average, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, dry change area, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, no sites with annex slabs, no sites are shaded, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Added Touches:- Easy walk it town.
Local Information:- We went to the Tibooburra Hotel for a meal this time and it was very good, in fact, the salad that came with it was one of the best I have had. Heaps to do around Tibooburra. Definitely go to the Parks office and check out all the drives that are available. Great area to get that Outback experience. Some really good camping can be had around Tibooburra as well. If camping at Fort Grey, the crows will eat your soap if you leave it out.
Road Conditions:- From Broken Hill, the road is at least 80% sealed and the dirt was quite reasonable. North is unsealed just out of town, thankfully.
