Key to the amenities can be collected from the supermarket. I found that the showers and toilets near the showground entry were both clean and well maintained. The grass was relatively recently mown. Shade was limited, but I pitched my tent to get eventual afternoon shade from a building. I was the only camper on site. Others availed themselves of the free park near the supermarket, with toilets available across the bridge. I'd certainly camp there again, rather than by the bridge.

The local water is unfit to drink but there is tank water available to fill water bottles and small containers.
Very good value for money $15 for 1+A PN, powered. Paid $15, Cost appears to be the same for powered and unpowered sites. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, dry change area, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, poor night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, no sites with annex slabs, very few sites are shaded, drive-through sites. No rec room, no camp kitchen, disabled facilities, no wireless internet available., you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4. Quiet, open & roomy park, inadequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. Clean UC BBQs fuel costs $1, congenial bbq area atmosphere, seating provided at bbq. No playground. No pool. Suitable for few days, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe, park is considered suitable for mobility impaired persons.
Liked:- I thought that this was a great camping area for a small country town. Everything that I needed was there, except for laundry facilities, but as I was only a short stay, it was not an issue. I'd definitely stay there again.
Disliked:- There were some comments by regulars that rain can create problems at some sites.
Road Conditions:- I travelled on the bitumen road from Dubbo which was what the councils call uneven, the locals call rough, and having done it by bike, I call a pain in the backside.

Disliked:- Lots of widow maker trees with signs warning that limbs can fall without warning. There are sites where this is not a problem. It is also between a busy highway and an active railway line, neither of which were a problem for me.
Parking:- Owner is not on site but phone numbers enabled easy and friendly contact.
Local Information:- About 1km walk to nearest pub meal - important for me because I'm touring on my bicycle.

Liked:- It is a typical country park maintained by volunteers so you can't expect to get the same facilities that you get for an unpowered $40 a night elsewhere. Be mindful that it was acceptably clean when I was there and that some things might be in need of a little bit of tlc.
Added Touches:- Pub was a short walk and they serve good meals every night. They are also in the process of adding cabin acommodation.
