NSW, Wee Waa, Mainway Caravan Park

Date of Stay: May 2015 Rating: 3.5
This is an old park but some improvements have been made since our last stay 5 years ago. There are a few permanents and cabins for seasonal workers but these are away from tourist sites. It has basic amenities but they are clean and there were also some ensuite sites. There is a takeaway food outlet nearby. The manager was very helpful and we will stay here again rather than in busy Narrabri. The shopping centre has most amenities with a good supermarket and medical centre.

This is a pleasant park on the outskirts of town, very quiet. The amenities were extremely clean and the park neat and tidy. Due to a medical emergency we arrived after 9 p.m. and the management were very helpful. They put my van next to the cabin my son and his friends were in. They had travelled from Sydney to help me out. I will certainly stay here again.

This park has new owners, Bernadette and David, who have made many improvements. There is pizza and damper each night around the fire. The amenities and park are kept very clean and tidy. We have stayed here a number of times but this stay, 5 nights, was very enjoyable. The owners are very friendly and go that extra bit to be helpful. It is a shady, quiet and pleasant park to stay in, many campers come for one night and end up staying longer. At $20 a night it is good value.
