NSW, Mudgee, Mudgee Riverside Tourist Park

Follow signs to 22 Short Street,the park is close to the main shopping centre with plenty of restaurants and 2 supermarkets with limited street parking
Average staff friendliness, no complaints. Reasonable value for money $31 for 2A, powered. Amenities are close to all sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, disabled facilities. Mostly level sites, poor night lighting, very few annex slabs, shade to most sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good camp kitchen, kiosk. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Good playground. No pool. Suitable for a week or more.
Liked:- close to mains hopping centre,very nice walking path next to river,very quiet park
Disliked:- the managers were business like without being over friendly,very poor night lighting, the male manager goes around the park around 10.15 to check that people are leaving on time and tells you to get a move on if you are late,when you arrive at the park it ia very nice bitumen road,but when you turn left to the powered site the road turn into a dusty gravel road when it is windy the dust goes over most of the sites if you are a asthmatic this may not be the park for you

Added Touches:- open fire at camp kitchen
Local Information:- local wineries.Hill End ,Gulgong,Mudgee Honey Haven.Robert Stein's winery has a motorcycle museum.great meals at the local pub but be hungry reasonal price
Road Conditions:- very good highway in and out of mudgee,sealed road to Hill end

Vic, Seymour, Highlands Caravan Park

A very quiet little park.
Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Good value for money $28 for 2A PN, powered, shoulder season. Amenities are close to all sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided. Mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, no sites with annex slabs, shade to most sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Basic laundry, no rec room, good camp kitchen, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Good playground. Clean pool, kid-safe pool area, tables and chairs provided. Suitable for a week or more.
Liked:- We stayed for 3 nights and found the park very quiet with a little highway noise.
Parking:- Parking outside office.
Local Information:- The army museum at Puckapunyal is now closed.
Road Conditions:- On main highway.

Qld, Toowoomba, BIG4 Toowoomba Garden City Caravan Park

Average staff friendliness, no complaints. Reasonable value for money $45 for 2A PN, ensuite. Amenities are close to only some sites, cleanliness was average, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water. Inadequate number of tourist sites, some unlevel sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate small to medium vans, annex slabs to most sites, very few sites are shaded, ensuite sites available, drive-through sites, hard to negotiate into site, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good rec room, good camp kitchen, dump point, secure entry, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 1. Quiet, claustrophobic park, inadequate shade, many permanents. Clean UC electric BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Good playground, in good condition. Clean pool, pool is shaded. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe, park is considered suitable for mobility impaired persons.
Liked:- A quiet park, a small shopping centre nearby ,a larger shopping centre on the main highway.
Disliked:- This park is small, service roads are narrow, sites are small and some sites are hard to get into, dump point is padlocked and can only be unlocked with amenities key and if you have a ensiute powered site you do not have a key, large caravans may find it difficult to get onto sites.
Parking:- Parking is out on the street, I can't believe local council allowed this as it is potentially dangerous as street is narrow.
Added Touches:- Afternoon tea at 3pm.
Local Information:- Cobb and co. museum is a must, it is very interesting.
Road Conditions:- Sections of Warrego Highway between Toowoomba and Brisbane is under repair with 60kph and 40kph speed limits in place.

NSW, Cobar, Cobar Caravan Park

Friendly staff, no complaints. Reasonable value for money $35 for 2A PN, powered, peak season. Amenities are close to most sites, were dirty, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided. Mostly level sites, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, annex slabs to most sites, shade to most sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good camp kitchen, dump point, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, no permanents. Dirty UC electric BBQs fuel costs $1.00, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground. No pool. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe, park is considered suitable for mobility impaired persons.
Liked:- Quiet and open.
Disliked:- Toilet block and camp kitchen bbq are not cleaned until about 3pm in the afternoon.
Parking:- Limited parking outside reception.
Local Information:- All facilities in Cobar Fort Bourke Lookout, Cobar Visitor Centre are a must see, diesel $168.9 @ Caltex,$166.9 @ BP and Shell.
Road Conditions:- Very good paved roads through out park, highway from Hillston to Cobar is all bitumen but narrow at places with no shoulders at times.
