Very friendly staff, staff explained park layout and facilities. Very good value for money $28 for 2A 2C PN, powered. Amenities are close to all sites, were clean, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting. Good laundry, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5. Quiet, open & roomy park. No playground. No pool. Suitable for few days, suitable for families, park is considered kid-safe.
Liked:- Open and lots of grass. Lots of room for kids to run around. Walking distance to town.

WA, Wyndham, Wyndham Caravan Park

Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Very good value for money, powered, off-peak season. Amenities are close to all sites, cleanliness was average, condition is good, water pressure is good. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, annex slabs to some sites, shade to most sites. You can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5. Quiet, adequate shade, a few permanents. Clean pool, pool is shaded. Suitable for few days.
Liked:- Friendly staff who gave great advice based on local knowledge.
Local Information:- Barra and chips at Wyndham Hotel was unbelievably good. Five Rivers Cafe was also excellent - the Barra burger in particular. Five Rivers Lookout and the Port were well worth a visit.

Qld, Cloncurry, Discovery Holiday Park

Large number of mining dongas but there was no noise or issue with any of the residents.
Very friendly staff, staff explained park layout and facilities. Reasonable value for money $45 for 2A 2C PN, powered, off-peak season. Amenities are close to all sites, were clean, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water. No sites with annex slabs, shade to some sites. Wireless internet is available, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5. Noisy, adequate shade, many permanents. Clean pool, tables and chairs provided. Suitable for few days.
Liked:- Great pool and sites were grassy. Free washing machines and dryers. Can eat at the workers mess if required.
Disliked:- A lot of light at night.

WA, Kununurra, Discovery Holiday Park

Amenities are close to all sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, shade to some sites. Good laundry, good camp kitchen, dump point, secure entry, wireless internet is available costs , you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade. No playground. Clean pool, pool is shaded, tables and chairs provided. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe.
Liked:- Friendly staff, fantastic location.
Added Touches:- Fresh water crocs that come in daily, fish feeding, Ord river tour boat picks up from site.
Local Information:- Pump house five star restaurant within walking distance.

NT, Alice Springs, MacDonnell Range Holiday Park

Amenities are close to all sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, annex slabs to some sites, shade to some sites. Good laundry, good rec room, good camp kitchen, secure entry, wireless internet is available, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5. Quiet. Excellent playground, in good condition. Clean pool, tables and chairs provided, toddlers catered for. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe.
Liked:- Copes well with large number of people. Well organised and well laid out.
Added Touches:- Free pancakes every Sunday plus something most nights eg didgeridoo performance. Jumping pillow and go carts for kids.

WA, Derby, Kimberley Entrance Caravan Park

Basic laundry, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5. Quiet, open & roomy park, a few permanents. No playground. No pool. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families.
Liked:- We were there off peak so there was a lot of room. Easy access to everything in town. Good local knowledge about tourist attractions.
Local Information:- WA Barra Charters operated out of the park. Adam was brilliant - took the whole family out for a whole day in very hot conditions but everyone had a fantastic time and we caught some great fish (including an 83 cm barramundi). Horizontal Falls tour was the experience of a lifetime - picked up from and delivered back to the park. Good place to prepare for travel along Gibb River Road - Sampeys Butcher has good selection of meat plus will vac pac for travel. Woolworths has full range of groceries.

WA, Fitzroy Crossing, Fitzroy River Lodge

Friendly staff, staff explained park layout and facilities. Very good value for money. Amenities are close to all sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, no sites with annex slabs, shade to some sites, adequate taps close by. Good laundry, good camp kitchen. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, no permanents. No playground. Clean pool, pool is shaded, tables and chairs provided. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe.
Liked:- Restaurant and bar on-site. Sites are very spacious with lots of grass and shade.
Local Information:- Geike Gorge boat cruise is excellent and great value for money. Road to the Geike National Park is sealed. Check price before going as cash only at the boat departure point - good value for money.
