NSW, Forbes, Forbes River Meadows Caravan Park

After booking in never saw managers again over a three day stay.
Average staff friendliness, average staff response to complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Reasonable value for money $25.00 for 2A, powered, off-peak season. Amenities are close to all sites, were dirty, condition is poor, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, shade to some sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Poor laundry, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, many permanent/annual vans. Dirty BBQs, dismal bbq area atmosphere. Basic playground, in poor condition. Dirty pool. Suitable for overnighter.
Liked:- Watching the road trains go by at night. Shade and grassy level sites. Next to town, dump point, hardware store and museum.
Disliked:- Toilets and laundry are run down and toilets were not cleaned for the three days we were there. Saw no management activity for whole of our stay.
Parking:- Good book in parking.
Local Information:- Good tourist and town facilities. Good clubs, cafes and coffee shops. Very nice country town with friendly locals.

NSW, Forbes, Apex Riverside Tourist Park

Very high standard of park, quiet and restful, facilities immaculate, great atmosphere.
Friendly staff, good staff response to complaints, staff helped us at the site, staff explained park layout and facilities. Very good value for money $32.00 for 2A, powered, shoulder season. Amenities are close to all sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, no sites with annex slabs, very few sites are shaded, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, secure entry, van parking, book swap available, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. Clean UC electric BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground. Clean pool. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered suitable for mobility impaired persons.
Liked:- Very clean and up to date amenities, overall park cleanliness and peaceful, restful next to flowing river, some fishing.
Disliked:- Nothing to dislike. Have stayed in cabins also and they are the best cabins anywhere.
Parking:- Easy book in parking.
Added Touches:- Had free bbq with local country music club in park.
Local Information:- Plenty of facilities and clubs in town.

SA, Williamstown, Queen Victoria Jubilee Park

Park had the town pool which was closed for maintenance. Weekend cricket games on oval did not disturb park residents. Park also has cabins and a camping area. Quiet, secluded park so near to town.
Very friendly staff, good staff response to complaints. Good value for money $30.00 for 2A PN, powered, off-peak season. Paid $25.70, reduced for 7th night free. Amenities are close to all sites, cleanliness was average, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided. Mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, very few annex slabs, shade to most sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good camp kitchen, late checkout allowed, dump point, no wireless internet available, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground. Suitable for month or longer.
Liked:- Handy to numerous towns. Town oval is part of park so plenty of room for kids to play. Centre sites are in shade all day. Some of the semi permanents were very friendly. Felt absolutely safe and secure. Didn't have to lock everything away whenever went out. We will be returning later this year.
Disliked:- Only thing was that the amenities were not cleaned on the weekends.
Parking:- Easy parking access.
Local Information:- Close to the Barossa valley wine tastings and restaurants.
Road Conditions:- Excellent Roads but some very winding.
