Very nice staff member but allocated a small site knowing I had a 23' van. This park needs a complete make over. We decided to get our money back and go elsewhere.

Manager's name is Dave & Lenore.
Great view. Lovely helpful managers & staff. There were no mud crabs. Some fish being caught off the beach. This park had salty water which was undrinkable. We were placed on site number 1. Don't go there, the berries dropped by the birds in the tree above you has stained our car & van plus the noise from the bar next door doesn't help either. Nothing is cheap here & the leasees are keen on making money but need to spend to improve a park with great potential. The swimming pool has been buried at the front of the park so no pool.
Very friendly staff, good staff response to complaints. Poor value for money PW, powered. Paid $35.00, reduced for stay 6 & 7th free. Amenities are close to most sites, cleanliness was average, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good, there was inadequate hot water, paper towels/dryer provided. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, annex slabs to some sites, hard to negotiate into site, poor water quality, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Basic laundry, good rec room, kiosk, no wireless internet available., you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 3. Adequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. Congenial bbq area atmosphere. No playground. No pool.
Liked:- The managers & staff very friendly. Lovely spot very pretty.
Disliked:- A park that needs a lot of work. Water was very poor quality & therefore undrinkable.
Parking:- No special parking. If you are backing your van into the first 8 sites you block all the traffic trying to get to their spot.
Added Touches:- Happy hour from 5-6.
Local Information:- There is an arts & crafts small market about 2 km away.
Road Conditions:- Good roads.

The park is situated on the main highway. Our site & others backed onto the train line used by cane growers, all day & all night we were woken by one train at 0108hrs!! The staff are very nice & trying to make the place a unique place for people to stay. The water was terrible & only a rain water tank to fill bottles. If the staff (managers) were not nice I would rate it a 2.

Old style park with good facilities staff very nice & helpful. Lots of noise from passing traffic.on highway. Dump points situated on your site so every site has it's own dump point. Reasonable rates catering for backpackers.
