Owners not always on site so its find your own site which weren't all level and some were hard to enter but they were close to water and power. The park is Eco Friendly and set amongst the big timber only plus .Toilets were old but clean and freshly painted. camp kitchen was just basic table and chairs stove worked fridge didn't. No Laundry. Owners are trying to sell and haven't spent a cracker in couple of years. At $20 per head way over priced

Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff helped us at the site, staff explained park layout and facilities. Reasonable value for money $43 for 2A, powered. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, very few annex slabs, shade to some sites. Basic laundry, good camp kitchen, dump point, van parking, wireless internet is available is free. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. No pool. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families.
Liked:- Park is right on the beach walking distance to shops and pubs.
Added Touches:- Fish cleaning area.
Road Conditions:- roads and site are as is most of the area shell grit so no dust.

SA, Streaky Bay, Island Caravan Park

Date of Stay: April 2017 Rating: 4.5
We did a drive through of this brand new 6 week old park with the encouragement of the managers. Big level sites some with ocean views, also sites for very big rigs as expected excellent facilities. Down side 8 kms from town 200 m from beach no shade as yet but shrubs etc have been planted between sites which should be great in time . A great alternative to the slightly crowded foreshore and at $30pn good value.

SA, Point Lowly, Point Lowly Camping Ground

Date of Stay: March 2017 Rating: 4.5
Great spot close to the water with good fishing with or without a boat . Toilets cleaned daily, cold shower small play ground. Not all sites are level ones closest to the water pretty rocky it can get busy .Cost honor box checked by the ranger is $8pn good value 14 day maximum stay . You can get water but not hook up. Dump point about 1 k away .Things do go walkabout so lock or secure easily moved items. Only dislike is people who took up 2 many sites thus stopping more van enjoying the views. Whyalla is 24ks away for easy shopping.
