Clean pool, kid-safe pool area, tables and chairs provided, toddlers catered for. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families, well maintained park.
Liked:- A convenient location from which to explore the region, notwithstanding that there are other parks in the vicinity, Cobdogla, Berri etc. A big attraction (particularly for kids) was the newly installed waterpark and also being right on the shore of Lake Bonney. Dog friendly and they provide plenty of "pick up" bag dispensers.
Disliked:- If one parks closest to the Lake the sites can be quite difficult to level your van. Be prepared to get the entrenching tool out to dig a hole for the jockey wheel, and then, if you have a rear door entry to the van, be prepared for a big step up. Other locations in the park are not as bad but still not level. Level sites can be found on the "G" sites. More grassed sights would be great and also slabs to overcome leveling problems. Disliked have the Credit Card surcharge applied.
Added Touches:- Discount vouchers are provided for meals at local club etc, Fire pots allowed (in season), boat ramp available, movie night for kids.
Local Information:- Great place for kids during summer holidays with the waterpark and lake. Locals can access waterpark for a fee. The nearby Bluebird Café do a great Steak Sandwich, the Barmera Pub put on a reasonable meal (so we found when we visited) and the local bakery is pretty good. Other places in the area worth considering are "Backyard Bread" for light meals (just outside Barmera) and "River Jack" in Berri (right alongside the River Murray). Good coffee and light meals can be had at "Sprouts" main street Berri.
Road Conditions:- Good Roads all through however the road from Barmera to Berri can be a bit rough even though it is the old highway and sealed.

$37.50 for 2A. Paid $34.20, reduced for Discovery Park. Sites will accommodate medium to large vans. Carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 3.
Liked:- Good location right on lake side and very close to town centre. Good base to have a look around the area.
Disliked:- Site took a bit to level van (front to back). Had to excavate to lower jockey wheel but even then did not quite get it level. This would not apply to many sites. Did not use tyre ramps. We were right on lake front with draw bar to road.
Local Information:- Fish for carp fish in lake. In holiday season all water sport would be available. Country and Western week was on whilst we were there. Good quality meat to be had at Monash Butcher.

Vic, Echuca, Rich River Holiday And Lifestyle Village

Date of Stay: June 2016 Rating: 3
We have stayed at this park on several occasions previously. Our first visit some years back was quite a good experience but since then it seems to have gone downhill. We stayed at an ensuite drive thru site as usual and whilst clean enough things overall look to need a good revamp. We paid $40.50pn and I did not think was value for money. A quiet park with a fair number of permanents it is located a few kms out of town but not so far as to be inconvenient. Road into park was in need of repair (potholed) and boom gate had been dismantled. Will look at a different location next time in Echuca.

Vic, Yarrawonga, Yarrawonga Holiday Park

Date of Stay: June 2016 Rating: 5
A community run multi purpose park of a very high standard. One of the best I have stayed at (for a couple). $37pn but on a slab site overlooking the river. The several amenities were spotless and close by to most sites. Plenty of shade and other sites had grassed areas and plenty of shade. Good water, power and sullage. Friendly staff. Some sites could be a bit difficult/tight to get into. Suit vans to 20' where I was. Close to town centre. Suitable for a week or more and for families. WiFi on Telstra = 3. A large area set aside towards of this very large park for permanents and annuals. Out of way of tourists. Notwithstanding the size of the park I was told it gets quite busy during holiday periods and if full might be considered claustrophobic to some. Yarrawonga a pleasant town to stroll about with good shops and a bit of history. Fishing available to do in river and lake (Mulwala) and RSL puts on a good meal at reasonable price. A good experience to have on off holiday season for older couples. Good for families other times.

Vic, Nagambie, Nagambie Lakes Leisure Park

Date of Stay: May 2016 Rating: 3
Not overly impressed with this park. A large park with many cabins and the powered sites in a large open area. All grassed but no slabs and little shade. The amenities left something to be desired. No hand wash in either men's or ladies. Interior road a bit rough and lighting poor. Power and water okay as was sullage. Laundry was quite insufficient to requirement and two machines were out of order whilst there. Hard to imagine that amenities and laundry etc would be sufficient in busy season. A lot of work to be done to this park to bring it up to a good standard in my opinion. Must gain its popularity due to its closeness to Melbourne and the lake and Goulbourn River. An honest report but must be measured against the fact that it was at seasons end.
