We paid $28 p/n and thought it was poor value. Very basic, small park with about 4 drive through sites, very close to each other. Amenities was old but clean with red hot water. The lady was very friendly and took us to the site and helped us back onto it. Lights on amenities but badly lit so take a torch. No dump point.

We were met with a smile and handshake "Hi, I'm Sam"! Showed us to our site and let us pick. We put the van on a slab but it wasn't level, but they are meant to be for your annex. Dirt and dusty but man places desperate for rain we have been to including this one. Amenities are spotless and tastefully decorated with a palm and flowers with bench, curtain and separate area to dry. Lights on amenities at night but no lights on roads around vans so take a torch. Fire at night for all for happy hour. $3 wash but cold water only which is reasonable. No dump point.

If you follow us, we always look for the cheapest parks. Tamworth was very expensive and the parks didn't look that great anyway (small). This one is out of town 20ks but worth the drive. We stayed 3 nights and got 4th one free. A fabulous spot for beautiful mountain scenery with horses around about in paddocks nearby. It has a pool. Amenities are interesting! Old, but clean with good pressure and hot water. Lighting is poor at night and you need a torch to find the light switch! Sites are easy enough to obtain level; several nice trees around. But water is scarce so grass is very yellow. The managers are lovely and very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't have a problem staying here a week ($155p/w) because of the rural atmosphere and do day trips to Tamworth. The park itself is very quiet but there is moderate road noise if you are a light sleeper.

Very nice little park; spaciious level sites; $25p/n; we've been a month on the road now and the cheapest we have found is $25p/n. Lovely elderly couple running it. Amenities appeared clean. Very small washing machine but only $3 whereas most places now it's $4. Lighting is good in some places, but if you park away from lights, you need a torch to get to toilets. Several cement pads, rest grassy. If you don't like trains, it's not for you, as the trains are just across the road, tooting frequently. We love trains so it didn't worry us! Basic park and the amenities certainly wouldn't win any awards for decor, however they are trying to get a grant to upgrade them. Very quiet apart from the trains; We stayed 3 nights and I'd be happy to stay there a week.

Level, grassy spacious sites. I didn't see the amenities cleaned each day but they seem clean enough. Showers are roomy with a bench and hooks and separate drying area, however the water pressure in the ladies was very, very poor. My husband said it wasn't too bad in the mens. Quiet and we didn't have a problem with road/truck noise. Lights are orange, so not brilliant but adequate and not bright at night. $28 p/n but stayed 3 nights and payed $25p/n

These guys take great pride in their park, very spic and span. Very nice amenities, clean with bench, separate area to dry and not get your feet wet! Good hot water. Level grassy sites. Friendly hosts, greet you with scones, jam and cream for afternoon tea! Books and videos to buy, swap, etc. Happy hour around the fire saw about 18 people last night. Good value at $28p/n. Great place to stay and go for a day trip to the Warrumbungles and Sliding Observatory.

An old park, needs some TLC but we stayed because it was $27p/n and the other one was $33p/n. Quite happy with amenities and grassy site. Owner friendly.

Huge park. Super quiet. Gravel everywhere so not very nice to stay too long. I wasn't convinced amenities cleaned each day but water hot and adequate. Overnight stay is all you would do.

Very basic, but you get what you pay for and we had no complaints. The lady manager was very friendly and is doing her utmost best to make improvements. Permanents there but not to be seen or heard and we felt safe. Amenities neat and clean and hot showers.
