What a great spot on the edge of town. Quiet, large sites, very good amenities and very friendly staff. No grassed sites but good clean gravel sites and driveways. Mgt will assist with a hammer drill if you need to use tent pegs!. This CP is a few minutes walk to the artesian hot baths and tour buses all pickup and drop off at the door. Dogs allowed with normal rules and during our 4 night stay we had no issues with the numerous dogs on site. Telstra connection was OK but the free wifi was very limited. Overall a good CP ina town that is really opening up for the tourists. Would definitely stay again

Stayed 1 night. A couple of km's out of town which meant it was very quiet. Almost new CP with work in progress building cabin accommodation. Amenities were great with each shower having its own basin/mirror within same cubicle. Camp kitchen was basic but had all necessary equipment ie microwave, hot plates fridge TV etc plus a good camp fire which was lit daily. Sites were good and grassy but no drive through sites at this stage. Staff were all very friendly. Well worth a few nights particularly if you like fishing and catching fish in the Darling River just a few minutes walk from your site. Watch out for the resident goats who will eat ANYTHING!!

Stayed 2 night. Office staff OK but not overly friendly. Park was expensive at $38 night with amenities tired but clean Amenities were cleaned at 0815 which was a peak period. Good Telstra connections and a reasonable site on the foreshore. No sullage available on site. .Numerous grassy sites and sites were a good size suitable for larger rigs. Laundry machines were pretty disgusting and clothes came out quite dirty. We approached management who were not interested but did say 'sorry about that'. Park reasonably well lit at night and was quiet . Overall we were not impressed as we have stayed in better parks for less money.. .

A really great park. Owners, Neil & Glenys went out of their way to make us welcome on what was a quite wet 2 day stay. Town facilities were good with the park about 1-1.5 km from centre of town, but easy to find as it is the only one in town with good signage. Telstra reception was fine as was internet availability. A few nice touches at the park was a fairly well stocked but small selection of 'essentials' in the office. Probably the best amenities block (complete with piped music) we've seen for quite awhile with glass sliding doors between the shower and change areas. They were clean and well stocked with bathmats and hand soap and paper towel. The camp kitchen included most of normal things - plenty of hot water, BBQ, slow-combustion type wood fire which was welcome on the cold nights. Neil lit the fire and the kitchen was a good gathering point for those who wanted to chat. park is dog friendly with the normal rules - on lead, pick up any mess. Overall, a good park to stay at again.

Manager's name is Jim & Julie. Very friendly staff, staff offered tourist advice, staff helped us at the site, staff explained park layout and facilities. Good value for money ($$25 2A PN, powered). Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, are close to all sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, annex slabs to some sites, shade to some sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Basic laundry, no rec room, good camp kitchen, dump point, no wireless internet available, you can use your mobile wireless (carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4). Quiet, open & roomy park, plenty of shade, a few permanents. No playground, no pool. Suitable for overnighter, suitable for families, well maintained park.
Liked:- Off the highway (about 1km), very little passing traffic, owners were great (even when we made the initial enquiry via email, a very prompt and friendly reply within a couple of hours). Although reasonably new - since December 2011, Jim & Julie were making improvements to the park in general and to the facilities which were old but clean. They allowed us to take 2 sites (we only had to pay for 1) as the drive-through sites had been taken. This meant we didn't have to unhitch which was great as we wanted to get on the road early next day. A very good camp kitchen clean, enclosed and well fitted out.
Disliked:- Very little - the only possible problem could be the showgrounds just down the road which may create a little noise but the night we were there, everything was finished by about 9:30.
