Previous reports cover this park very well. Price is $42/night 2A powered. Manager is Robyn who is friendly & inherited a friendly cat from previous managers that wanders thru the park. Clean recently renovated amenities. Sites a bit variable. Ours was shady, spacious, no slab, opposite the amenities. Others cramped, dusty & amongst permanents. Free entry to town pool next door. Good location, 30 minute drive to Dingo Beach, Airlie Beach & Peter Faust dam.

This park is located in town right next door to the free pool and water park. I think they have the cleanest amenities I have ever experienced. They are a credit to the cleaning staff. They are currently in the process of further upgrading the toilets, although I dont think they need it.

Good laundry, good camp kitchen, disabled facilities, dump point, secure entry, book swap available, no wireless internet available., you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Optus, reception quality was 4. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No pool. Liked:- This is a good location to explore the Airley Beach area without the traffic hassles. Although they do not have their own pool, there is a free community pool and water park next door. I really liked the exceptionally clean amenities.
Parking:- Parking for one van at check in.
Local Information:- They say that the river has the biggest Barra in Oz, but also the most crocs.
Road Conditions:- It's the Bruce Hwy, but they are working on it SLOWLY!!!
