Most of the van sites have been roughly leveled in this bushy van park. Bring your wheel chocks. It ain't dead flat! The park appears to survive on the vast number of left overs from Agnes Water van park which is five minutes drive away and constantly booked out. The camp ground in 1770 is fenced off and camping is prohibited there due to Covid 19 virus. The kitchen/BBQ is a bit rudimentary and although nominally covered, in serious rain you would get drenched or you would buy your dinner from the on site fish and chip shop near reception. This is not a park for disabled persons. It's far too undulating and in places, too rough. The internal roads are not maintained. From the back boundary it is a rough 800m walk to the beach. Despite all this the "booked out" sign is out every evening.
Average staff friendliness. Good value for money $40.00 for 2A PN, powered. Paid $36.00, reduced for Top parks. Amenities are close to all sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Inadequate number of tourist sites, mostly unlevel sites, poor night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, very few annex slabs, shade to most sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Basic laundry, no rec room, basic camp kitchen, kiosk, dump point, secure entry, wireless internet is available carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 1. Quiet, adequate shade, no permanent/annual vans. Clean UC electric BBQs are free, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground. Clean pool. Suitable for few days.
