$45/n powered pay 3 stay 4 applied. G’day members get further 10% off. Good camp kitchen, good ablutions maybe just a bit dated. Choice of powered or unpowered caravan sites, many with slabs otherwise grass or gravel. Generally quiet. Excellent magnesium water pool. Was told to ensure EVERYTHING is locked down. Only downside, under local flight path to airport. Some flights arrived at 05:30. Not a busy airport so wasn’t too bad. Would stay again, choice sites are shaded.

Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Very good value for money $48 for 2A, powered, peak season. Paid $44, reduced for . Amenities are close to only some sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, annex slabs to some sites, shade to some sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good rec room, good camp kitchen, disabled facilities, wireless internet is available is free, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Optus, reception quality was 3. Quiet, open & roomy park, a few permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground. Clean pool. Suitable for few days.
Liked:- Very busy with so many on the road and facilities do take a beating.

Quiet park near town. Clean pool. Big sites - some gravel, some grass, some with slabs. Mount Isa is much nicer than expected. Town is good with most services, shops, etc. The surrounding hills and lake are very scenic.
