$30 per night for CASH or $35 if using EFPOS. Sharon is very welcoming. Amenities are old but very clean. Still FREE washing machines. Barra and chips $12.00 and a great meal. Grassed sites. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Sharon and Tracey run a great, friendly little caravan park on the 'outskirts' of a great friendly little town. $30 p/n powered if paying cash, extra to cover EFTPOS fees if paying by card. Tracey gave us a warm welcome as he showed us around the park to select a site, and he gave us some touristy options. We stayed a couple of days after extending, as did others during our stay. Lovely grass and shade available on easily accessed, mostly drive thru sites. Despite being on the highway thru town, it was lovely and peaceful. Free Wifi in van from the town wifi. How this works- no idea but it was great better than home! Good TV-no ABC, Sharon offers up a fish and chips deal $12-absolutely delicious whiting (or Barra) and beer battered chips cooked fresh to order and worth a stay for this reason alone. Communal fire pit for happy hour with the fish and chips delivered, and the very enjoyable company of the owners and other travellers, what more do you want! Amenities were older style=larger proportioned and very clean, good working order and good hot water. Dump point available. Small camp kitchen and bird aviaries for pondering. Another great feature, apart from the fish and chips and great sites, was FREE washing machines and working clothes lines. Wow yeah a draw card indeed. Tambo town lovely. Well maintained, friendly people, save up and buy a Tambo Teddy, great art gallery/craft shop and reasonable Foodland. A couple of walks around town, including a lovely park area next to town dam, but of course a bit dry at the mo. We missed the chicken races at the pub, but there will be a next time for us. Ambience of CP and town, you could stay there easily for a week or more.
